  • Cannot sync?

    Hi Diaro,

I've been a long time user of the App and I've always loved it.

However, recently, after the update, I'm unable to sync from my mobile Diaro to browser Diaro.

    Please fix it, thank you.

  • Good but small - very irritating - bug

I have used this app for a few years now and really enjoy the functionality and look of it. However, maybe for the last 6 months I’ve noticed an irritating bug that’s making using it a little painful and more time-consuming than it should be. I’ve waited a while hoping it would be fixed but it hasn’t yet. There’s always a chance it just my phone but it’s a newish iPhone and a newish bug so I doubt it.

Essentially, if you are reading through an entry you’ve already written and see an error or want to add a sentence or whatever, and you click where you are up to and want to edit, instead of the keyboard appearing and you being able to type where you clicked, it takes you to the top of the entry instead. This means you then have to scroll all the way down and find the place in the text that you want to edit. It happens every time. Sometimes it’s not the very top and a little further down, but either way it’s so far away from where you originally clicked to edit. It never used to be like this. Super, super irritating, especially with long entries where you now have to waste minutes scrolling to find the write part to edit.

Hopefully this is an easy fix.

    Away from that, it’s a great, easy-to-use app :)

  • Wow!

I didn’t think I liked to journal… but was I wrong. I began using this as an app to track health variables but it is now so much more. The ability to create my own templates for different folders has endless possibilities. Currently I track my eating and exercise habits while tracking daily weigh ins and general eating accountability, use the Gratitude template they provided, chat with God or write prayers, record book studies and impressions. I know I will now journal the rest of of my life. Through this app, I found a great friend who knows my history and wanted me to do well… that would be me. Journaling is like talking to my own best friend. I love that!!!

  • Amélioration a faire

Super application. J'utilise la version payante. Très satisfait. Synchronise le pc et l'application. Dommage que les modifications ne sont pas toute possible selon la plate-forme. Sur iPhone et pc par exemple, impossible de changer la météo....
  • Great app

Been using this app for years. Keeps everything nice and organised. I love how you can customise everything.
Great customer support too! Very reactive. Thank you !
  • Great App,Wish I could sync to other than Dropbox

Great app, and fantastic for cross platform sync. The only limitation is it will only sync media via DropBox, and the free plan fills up fast. It’s the most expensive cloud storage option,so I’d this app was able to select sync options with Onedrive or iCloud instead would make this app five star.
  • A good second choice app.

About two weeks ago, the journaling app I had been using since January 1, 2020 crashed. I could not edit a post or start a new one without crashing to the home page. After four or five days, I decided to search for a replacement app. I test drove seven to nine apps and kept coming back to this one. IMHO, there is no better app than Day One for page layout.

All-in-all, Diaro is a good second choice. My biggest beef is the absence of formatting tools. An additional deficit is the inability of inserting images inline. Day One provided the ability to insert PDFs, audio files, and videos, which was a great feature.

  • Warning

Does not back up to iCloud. If you sell a product on the Apple app store that is not integrated to work in the Apple system you should say so loud and clear in the product description. It is misleading and deceptive conduct for me to find out I cant use the product after I have paid for it. If you don't want to add iCloud back up you should be selling it somewhere else.

iCloud is not multi-platform, Diaro is, hence we can not backup to iCloud! Do not blame it on us, if you can not read properly. We do not claim that we backup to iCloud, if you could actually read, you would see that we mention clearly that we use Dropbox. We are selling a multi-platform system, which is not just tied to Apple system.
  • Nice diary

I reviewed them all. The things I like about Diaro is that it location stamps you if you want, pulls up the weather info into your entry, which is nice if you are looking back at an entry from the past. I like that you can enter photos quickly and easily. It still needs some basic improvements. For example, if I’m wanting to peruse old entries from the past, I would like it to be more book like, with the dates and titles of the entries in a log book/table of contents like fashion. And currently, if I open an entry from the past, it acts as though I’m trying to edit it, and save it. I click Done when I’m through just looking at it, and then it takes me back to the beginning again, so I can’t just go day by day easily. That is a big turnoff for perusing your entries.

  • Wish it has more font options

I think the app is great, been using it for 5 years now. The ONE thing I’d really like is the options for different fonts. I find the text type so limiting. I’m a very visual person and font contrast are important to me when I see a piece of text. I’d like to mess around with the font a little; do bold, italics, strikes, highlight a line of text etc. If this is implemented I’ll be so happy because this app is fantastic.
