Nice diary
I reviewed them all. The things I like about Diaro is that it location stamps you if you want, pulls up the weather info into your entry, which is nice if you are looking back at an entry from the past. I like that you can enter photos quickly and easily. It still needs some basic improvements. For example, if I’m wanting to peruse old entries from the past, I would like it to be more book like, with the dates and titles of the entries in a log book/table of contents like fashion. And currently, if I open an entry from the past, it acts as though I’m trying to edit it, and save it. I click Done when I’m through just looking at it, and then it takes me back to the beginning again, so I can’t just go day by day easily. That is a big turnoff for perusing your entries.

Wish it has more font options
I think the app is great, been using it for 5 years now. The ONE thing I’d really like is the options for different fonts. I find the text type so limiting. I’m a very visual person and font contrast are important to me when I see a piece of text. I’d like to mess around with the font a little; do bold, italics, strikes, highlight a line of text etc. If this is implemented I’ll be so happy because this app is fantastic.

Excellent journaling option!
I, like many others, am trying to reduce the use of Social Media and started keeping a journal. I tried a few different options and this for the best. I find myself writing far more than I used to and being more thoughtful about it.
I definitely use the sync feature in the Pro version, as I regularly use my iPad or laptop to write. These sync back to my phone without issue. This is one of the strongest features and definitely pushed me to go with this app over others. (The price was also far better than many of the competitors.)

Great App
I’ve not journaled before but loving this app and the whole process.
Being able to manage posts by assigning folders and tags is just what I need for a personal medical journal. Although, I’d like the option to attach files other than images and/or to use the camera as a document scanner.
Another improvement would be the possibility to make your custom templates with the option to pre load tags ?

Simple and very powerful. Excellent, rapid entry, easy reporting.
Diaro has proven to be excellent in every respect.
I started with Omnifocus about 12 years ago, but syncing was unreliable.
Since then I have tried a variety of diary programs. Day One has stood the test of time, with 2500 entries. The 100 directory limit of Day One was the reason for trying Diaro.
Not sure if there is a limit to the number of directories in Diaro.
At this stage I am content to run both in parallel, Diaro for personal and Day One for project management.
Very happy with both. On average add about 10 entries a day to Day One, a few less to Diaro, so both are in constant use.

Excellent search capability - enhanced in October 2021
I've been using Diaro Pro for a few years now, and love it!! I wrote a review before and would just modify that review with what I want to say here, but I don't have time to look for that review at the moment.... So here's another 5 star review...
...The convenient Search capability has now been made even more powerful by enhancing its precision!! If you want to find all occurrences in all your entries of a PHRASE with multiple words separated by spaces, you simply specify your complete search argument with a double quote character ( " ) at each end. And it's FAST!!

Love This App
Diaro has completely changed the way I organize my life. I use it for several aspects of my life: 1) keep track of funny things my kids say and do, and about their achievements; 2) keep track of illnesses/what meds are being taken/symptoms, etc.; 3) list where and what we did on family vacations; 4) daily gratitude journal; 5) notes from parent/teacher conferences; 6) a place to list holiday meal traditions to search for later; 7) basic journaling about feelings or everyday events; 8) notes to remember from client meetings. You put each entry into a separate folder (family, gratitude, medical, school, etc.), and you can also create tags. So I could pull up all entries for one of my children and print them out for a keepsake book. Or pull up all entries for a medical event to bring to the doctor. You can also add photos to each entry. Absolutely love it.

Great Diary Journal
I started with the basic which in itself is great. Good user interface easy to navigate. I used it for a few days to see how it went before I upgraded to the Pro version.
The only issue I had was with e mail addresses I purchased the Pro version with a different e mail address as it was PayPal.
I wrote a message to the support team and they sorted it almost immediately.
The Pro version allows me to sync my phone entries with the desktop version which is awesome.
This really is a great product at a great price.

My favourite for journaling
I’m old school when it comes to journaling, but many times I’m on the go and I need to write things. This app allows me to have everything organized, and I can sync the data. I had the free version but I liked it so much, that I switched to pro like 5 years ago. I’ve been a loyal customer since then!.

Not synchronising
It’s great app and simple to use. However, it’s not synchronising on different device and also I would suggest it would be great to be synchronised without using Dropbox. If it’s not synchronising, I’d like to ask refund.
