One of the coolest apps I've used in a long time
The interface could use improvement, as could the accuracy of song information. That being said, it's pretty incredible to be able to discover pop music from Mongolia or Madagascar in the 60's with the click of a button. Also, they should segregate larger or musically diverse countries like the US into different regions (the app doesn't allow you to choose, say, Hawaiian music or Cajun music).Show lessAeranis
Best music app around
Weird and wonderful, this is everything I've wanted in a music discovery app. I started in 1960s Philippines, and seamlessly flew to Ethiopia in the 1970s, and from there I was hooked. This app is pure gold and was swiftly recommended to all of my audiophile friends. Must havejatstudio57

Beautifully-designed, elegant interface, and an intriguing idea. After a couple of days the app started crashing a lot. The music selection is heavily curated to produce a certain sound and specific "nostalgic" atmosphere. Unfortunately, this seems to exclude many genres. (Haven't heard any reggaeton so far when listening to 1990s and 2000s Puerto Rico, for instance.)Show less🦀🐞🦂
The Best So Far
I awoke this morning with terror in my heart. I am a giant fan of what Radioooo offers to me and my species in general, even though I don't use it as often as I'd like to (no reason beyond human unreason). I think I am bouyed by the sense that they are there and at any moment I can bring up the app and ... be alive. The terror was this: What if the Radioooo people can't keep going? What if (gulp/sob) it all ENDS suddenly??!!? It was like a more intense 'What-if-Google-somehow-buys-out-Mozilla' feeling. A coooold feeling, as clinically anesthetizing as the lumens emitted by the fixtures that illuminate the aisles of Walmart. I shivered, I shook. I'd have cried, but what the hell good would that do??
I opened the app and as a random nation poured its past into my ears, I read the News: Radioooo is starting something new, and really cool. And tangible!

Awful representation of the contries
None of that music is listened from those countries. I am originally from latin america and found music that was hipster electronic, something no one has ever heard of. I tried to upload populaire, traditional music and everything was rejected for no reason. This application is selling fake information of each culture. I have visited russia, ukraine, turkey, bulgaria, spain, lebanon and i know none of those songs are heard or known by my friends living there!! What a fake! Let people upload the music ACTUALLY listened in each country. Not hipster stuff! Because is hip or unknown, i want people around the world to learn about my culture as much as i want to learn about others. I uploaded around 25 songs all rejected for not being hipster enough I guess. Do not take this music seriously! You will not be cultured into learning from different countries. If you enjoy music this is the most amazing app ever. Trip all over the globe through different time periods and capture moods and eras. I've barely gotten into this but I know it will bring massive enjoyment for a long time. Thank you to the developers!Diggity217
