Recent update has ruined this app
The My Journeys feature is a very poor substitute for being able to manually select the station for which you want to see departures, and the nearest station is not necessarily the best e.g. suggesting James St when I needed to check Northern line departures from Liverpool Central is not helpful.

Live departures from any station is still available through the Station Map screen where you can find details and train progress on any train at any station. Very Useful App
I’m thoroughly impressed by this app. It’s made my daily commute so much easier. The user interface and features are a perfect combination. It’s great to see the app receive a stellar update. Thank you!

Not good anymore
Agree with an earlier review, this new version is awful. Choosing a station and getting immediate journey info was great, but this new journey planner is useless. It defaults to my nearest station, which isn’t the one I use, but I can’t seem to change it.

Went from great to awful with recent update
Used to be a super useful app where I could pull a list of northern line departures from Liverpool central before leaving work. Now I can only see lime street departures because the app wants to show me the closest station despite that being the wrong line 🤬🤬🤬
Big step backwards
The new version takes a reasonably useful app and makes it significantly worse.
You can no longer use it to plan ahead during a journey as it only tells you (a limited selection of) times from the station it thinks you are nearest to.
The “alert” announcements are too small to show all the relevant information but if you tap on they show even less.
The limited “live” information it does give you seems to be frequently wrong (e.g. I recently checked for trains home and was told that the next 4 were all on time. In fact 3 were cancelled and the other running 20+ minutes late).
So this app is now actively damaging for travelling on Merseyrail. Delete it.

New version
The new version is dreadful!
The missing feature which was used by everyone where you could choose a station and find out what trains are arriving/departing with even a live feed of where they are on the line has been replaced with this stupid my journeys where I chooses a station, which isn’t even on my line!
Also, the my my journeys but doesn’t allow you to choose earlier or later trains by clicking on more.

New version removes best features
In the previous version of the app you used to be able to pick any station and see the departures board. That’s gone and all we have is a stupid “My Journeys” feature that decides for itself what station you want to know about (hint, it’s never James Street if I want to go to Southport!). It’s a real shame.

Fantastic New App!
I really love the features of this new app. It’s very intuitive and easy to use. I’ll definitely be using this over the Trainline app from now on
Poor app
Some of the fonts are nice but the functionality is poor and the information you really need is impossible to find!
Easy to use and helpful
Really appreciate this app as a way to access Merseyrail. Clear and easy to use. Slick design and helpful and clearly refreshed. Looking forward to using it more to help me out.
