  • So far so good

After an hour or so with Things I’m a believer. Initially when I heard things had released a new version I thought it would be a tad average.

However I decided to give it a go. The design really works for me. I like the fact only what I’m currently working on is on my current line of sight.

There are not loads of different colours hitting me, just what I’m currently concerned with.

I love the evening “when” feature. I tend to have a few things I need to do when I get home - so having the evening option is marvellous.

Syncing is quick. This is good as I don’t need to wait 10 or 20 seconds for the devices to sync. This doesn’t seem like much but it all adds up.

  • Amazing!

Does literally everything I want it to do. The one thing I wish however is that there weren’t seperate apps for iPhone and iPad. Paying a lot for both seems a bit much for an app like this.
  • Powerful and polished

Great use of haptics. Elegant design and animation physics. Simple but powerful features.

This is by far the best task organiser app.
  • Perfect - calendar entries would be awesome

Great app to use.. it would be perfect if there was an option to use things as your main calendar to add events to.. that way you only use oneapp for everything.. but this is by far worth having. Thank you for making such a great app.
  • Good but drop off in new v3

Over all very good app which supports effective working. Would have given 4 or 5 stars except in latest version (v3) has made presentation difficult to see wood for greed. In v2 the areas were listed without the all the projects but in v3 the projects are listed as well. In v2 you could expend the areas to see the projects and there was a separate projects line that you could expand to see projects grouped by area. This I feel was better. Now, because of all the projects being listed I can’t do easily navigate and focus. I assume this is easily fixed. When it does I look forward to giving the app 5 stars. Ps. There are good additional features in v3 but not good enough to outweigh the negative step.

  • Almost perfect

I have been searching for a way to combine my “getting things done” productivity world, and my “outliner world” where I plan projects. Things is the closest app I have found to bring these two worlds together in a way that is functional, beautiful and intuitive.

I love the tagging, dates, inbox, and headings. The reason I wrote “Almost” perfect is that I want to be able to collapse headings, areas, and notes (under project titles). Without the ability to collapse these the work environment can get cluttered.

  • Like it!

Playing with app on and off for a few days and I think I can centralize so many things! This could be a life changer! The cost seems rather high and unreasonable to not share across platforms, so loses a star.
  • Best productivity app I've ever used

I am a planner person, I work off lists (analog and digital) all the time and if I don't have my lists, you best believe I'm getting nothing done and feel like a lost puppy. Enter this app: Things, I just purchased it today, entered everything I needed to do (I have my wedding in 5 days!!) and I feel like I can rule the world. I WISH I looked and found this app years ago. It's very streamlined and has absolutely everything I need in terms of list-making, creating projects with notes and their own to-do lists, creating days where a task sits or deadline, repeating tasks, having tags and syncing calendars to the app. It has everything I've ever needed in a productivity app and more that I didn't know would be useful!! I LOVE THIS APP!! Low key hoping it can help me get the rest of my life together :-)
