Great app
It's not often I find an app that hits the nail on the head but it's app is perfect. I used Trello and Notes before to remember all the places, mostly bars and restaurants that I want to go to or have been. I tried Google Maps as well, but the clarity of the pins is so much clearer on this map. The addition of tags with filters is genius. The list view looks great too. The "notify when close" feature is also great as it will hopefully remind me to check the map when I'm looking for places to eat or drink.Show lessVsoulchild
Great app but location request not working
For a couple years this app has worked great and I love it, but lately it cannot request location from my iPhone, as in it asks for permission but there is not “switch” or “button” to request location in iPhone settings. Seems like a bug? Please fix! Wonderful app.museekelly
Wish there was an iPad app
I thought this had an iPad app which was why I downloaded it and was disappoint to find out it was iPhone only.
I do enjoy the app though, and likely I will use a lot of it on my iPhone. Easier to save favourite places than other map apps.NickS.88

Great tool
Using this for door knocking and managing area, do you think on an update you can add the feature to see your areas along with all of your friends saved areas all on the same map? Would be awesome to see all areas at the same time without having to switch to all your different friends. I LOVE this app! As me and my SO explore more of the world together, I searched for the best way to both record the places we have been as well as the places we want to go. This app is amazing for both! I just wish there was a way I could download my map to have an offline copy as a backup.Wolkster
Updated: Still enjoying it bunches.
Not only has the app been faithful to log all my favourite places, it also encourages me to get out more, and subsequently makes me search (and therefore fiend) fun new places to go with friends. That‘s always a win for me.
EDIT: previous bug (long pressing to change tag color) is fixed!
A feature request: allow official maps to follow to be searched via location? I’d love to follow and discover more places, but most of the official maps I saw in the brief time I scrolled are in France (I am not in France, LOL).

Been using Mapstr for a couple of years now. Brilliant app, so handy for travelling. However, recently I started it using on an iWatch. It worked perfect to start with but lately, has stopped working. Have done everything apple and the developers recommend (restart, delete and re-install etc etc) and it still won’t load. Just cuts out every time I load it up on the iWatch, but works fine on the phone. Have spoke to some friends who use it and they have had the same issue. Any ideas how to get around this as I’m going away this weekend and would live to be able to use it instead of having to walk around with my phone in my hand??Show lessMyteeMC

I can’t express how useful I find this app when it comes to satisfying my food obsession! I use it so regularly to make a note of places I’ve seen online I want to try, places I walk past in the street and places I hear about from friends. It’s customisable colourful category system makes it so easy to catalogue everywhere and search for what I’m looking for.
