Excellent!
I’ve been using Tuta Mail for a couple of months now and find it very useful. My reason for 5 stars is that I love that it’s secure and that it doesn’t hit me with constant ads (that’s extremely important!). I am using the free service for now, which meets my current needs, but I am slowly expanding my use and slowly relegating the other email services to just receiving vendor emails…I want to use Tuta only for personal email with friends. As I increase my use of Tuta I’ll revisit my rating to see if there are any concerns. The paid services are reasonably priced and may decide to go that route in the near future. However, I need to figure out the E2E encryption if it holds for a receiver not using Tuta mail? Thanks Tuta!Show lessSam 50

It’s getting better than before. The ability to update recovery key. Email search box functionality. The contact has many fields and calendar all consolidated in one email app, very useful and convenient. Of all the email I use, Tuta Mail is the only email service that encrypts everything including the subject line, leaving only certain data for functionality and interoperability for the internet to function properly. The only missing right now is Tuta Drive, note, document, photo, media storage and backup. As a paid account customer, I’m expecting these useful products in the future development. Besides my Tuta Mail was deleted by the system, I still want to give you guys another shot with paid subscription in the future. I want to support privacy-focused tech. I know how important it is in the digital age where we do almost anything online. But I wait for Tuta Mail to build tools such as email migration from other services and also from Tuta Mail to other services. I want to share a story with people who read my review. My wife email (Microsoft) was exposed countless times in data breach and the attempt to hack into her password manager by malicious hackers I just found out yesterday through email alert about unsuccessful attempt logins and the IP address is in Ukraine. I gave the app a 2 star being I have contacted Tuta over and over about the font being so small the person receiving it can’t see it for being so tiny and that’s setting font at 30 and bold in the font tool, then if the person I emailed responds back the only way I can read my response is by hitting reply I am a Premium paying customer and can’t seem to get ANY help through support as they can’t help I guess ! Shame because up until all the new updates they have done my font was fine, never any issues but since the changes so tiny you can’t see it, I gave even set font to 50 and bold and still they can’t read it without sending it to a different email and I can’t read response without hitting reply back PLEASE FIGURE IT out and fix it, I have brought 30 people to tuta and they will leave it if I leave and they to are Premium customers!! Hi there, please open an email and when the font is displayed too small despite manually changing it you can go to Settings > About > Send Logs. These can be sent to our developers for review so they can get to the bottom of what is causing this bug.Latest update broke the app
I love Tuta but this new update has the app stuck in login mode, just churning and churning without getting anywhere. I shut down my phone (not forced reset, just regular shutdown) and when I opened the app it was doing exactly the same thing.
I hope there is a way to fix this. Even though I’m only using the free version I would upset to lose all those emails.
This should really be an email to customer service but I don’t know how to contact them now that the app is inaccessible. Hoping to get tech support’s attention this way and totally prepared to change 1 star to 5 which IMO Tuta otherwise deserves.Show lessbecauseknowledge

You cannot print any e-mails received on your mail app. To print, you go on the desktop version. This is really inconvenient for people. Why design a perfect mail app if you can’t use it on mobile like most of us do? What if we don’t always have a laptop on us if we travel? Only things I can print are documents in PDF form on mobile. I tried everything. PGP The tools suite, but the reality is few people are able to figure out the key situation and don’t understand how to set things up on their end. This company figured out the most user friendly but still fully implemented security features within their app. The other party need not even have a Tutamail account, as with Proton Mail. Tutanota is the gold standard of secure email clients and internet privacy advocacy. I started as a free customer and quickly bought into their paid tiers as I plan to migrate all my email traffic to multiple accounts. Additionally Tutanota works closely with their supporter community to bring about the features we need/want with security rich features. Yes, Tuta Team you nailed it. GOOD WORK! Powerful and elegant
Years ago, as an early hater of data harvesting, I decided to research encrypted email systems. I don’t know why I chose Tutanota but I’m glad I did, as I’ve been able to witness first hand the timely improvements and refinements. They’ve quickly responded to my feedback about bugs, the bugs are always remedied in an update, and yes ALAS…. PINCH-TO-ZOOM! This was honestly the last detail I was waiting for, so I’m a subscriber for life. I pay the annual fee for whatever the perks are, I love the look and organization of it, I’d say download this system and give it a test drive. Needed to use on web, but: When I Tried accessing on web, got only errors & blank screens. Got app & works as intended - later, so only 4 *
Answer: Had to use Safari on iPad; No special settings. Needed to get email on web for setting up Apple ID before I could get Tutanota app or ANY app from App Store. Really needed it to work on web 1st, to avoid the extra work I had to go through. Now it works on other browsers that also needed to be downloaded from App Store…a day late & a dollar short. Thanks for your feedback. What browser were you using? Did you have special privacy settings enabled? This could influence the performance of Tutanota; with standard settings in Firefox or Chrome, it works flawlessly (but the app is the better choice anyway). ;)
