App needs lot more work
As much as I love the privacy, I strongly feel that the app needs lot of improvements. That is the main reason I am not ready to sign up for yearly subscription. Some Feedbacks: I still cannot zoom in or out the email content using 2 fingers (The only option right now is just double tap). Even if you double tap the zoomed in version of the content is not enough. I don’t understand why can’t you use the two finger gesture to zoom in or out?Show lessRanjanP

Thanks for the update! Loading time will reduce once we support offline mode. Pull down to refresh is not necessary as emails are pushed to your mailbox instantly. Edit: Thanks for the update, we plan to implement pinch to zoom, but this is a complex feature and right now we focus on other improvements, e.g. support for default email app on iOS.I have a good complaint.
Ever since I switched to Tutanota over a year ago as my primary email provider I am hardly getting any emails from anyone. I go days without getting a single email. That’s a good thing. I switched to Tutanota because I wanted as few emails as possible.ch pe

I’m a big fan of Tutanota, but there is something super annoying about it when reading emails on a phone, I’m not sure why it’s that way. Often time when I try to read email messages on my phone,the message appears too small to read , and the app doesn’t give you an option to enlarge/Zoom in like most email apps would. I have been trying to reach someone about that but I didn’t find a way to. Please make it possible to zoom in on emails on phones (iPhone) and I’ll update the review. Thanks.Show lessCJ-Cyber

The app is very comprehensive and extremely easy to used and work’s fantastic i have had zero problems while using it and there has been no trouble receiving or sending emails but what i really want to share is the service itself they have been absolutely amazing they are always quick to respond and have had perfect customer service even when i was late on my payment they were quick to email me and ask what was going on and it wasnt some machine sending a automated message either like most services “pay us money or else” i explained the situation and they were happy to help i asked for a small extension due to some emergencies that had happened and they agreed no problem i would recommend this service to anyone who needs a secure private email or really anyone who needs a email service in general if you are out there and you have some gmail account and dont mind spending a few bucks a month then due yourself a favor and switch over because its worth every penny and you wont have to deal with the typical nonsensical bull that most services put people through i love this service THANKS TUTANOTA! Best privacy centered email provider. website is way faster than protonmail. iPhone app is ok, does the job. I wish the app was more responsive when deleting emails or moving them to a different folder. I can create filters from my phone, that’s really useful. Cheap custom domain blew my mind. Thanks for this great service on iOS. Could you please add the ability to stay signed in on the app until you choose to sign out? I’m immediately being logged out after signing in. First, very secure email. Can setup a password for others so they don't have to use Tutanota but still encrypted. Great calendar and search has improved dramatically. They publish their roadmap and actually work through itMason_Youn
Have been a steady user
Everyone on the planet knows email is not secure. Many do not care, and many use messengers they think are secure. It befuddles me why this is so misunderstood and truly unattended for decades. One solution, while sticking to email because it is still useful for archiving and organizing, is TUTANOTA. I use a variety of means to communicate internationally and when it comes to email that needs to be anything worthwhile as private, I am a paying subscriber to Tutanota. No regrets.
