Just what I needed
Looked promising at first
For example: "научиться" selected and pasted from the new paginated version copies as "R̆ӯΔΘЍΓΝΒΠ"
Also understanding how the user interface works is far from intuitive, but I figured it out by trial and error.
Excellent
Works!
I had to spend 5 minutes experimenting with how to discard my test page numbers as I compared various font styles and sizes. To erase the cluttered test page numbers, I simply clicked on OPEN to re-open a refreshed version of my file. Easy.
I also have to use my Mac's Font Book app to see a visual of what each font would look like. Would be nice to see the fonts while in the app, but it's not a show stopper.
$5 well spent, if this first-time use is any gauge of future performance. Thanks, Francis!

Hi Will T. Thanks for taking the time to post. Sorry to take so long to notice it, always better to email me. Here is how to get around your first issue and what the problem is. To solve your issue; Open the file that you want to paginate in Preview -> go to ‘File’ -> ‘Export…’ -> Select ‘PDF’ in the ‘Format’ drop down box and Save the file with a new name -> now open the file with the new name in pdf Paginate Pro and paginate as you did before. This should work, if it does not then please let me know (francis@pdfpaginate.com), in fact please let me know if it did work as well. The Explanation, If your issue is solved then you may not wish to read this bit but just in case you were interested; pdf Paginate Pro relies on the file it is paginating knowing the page number for each page that it is adding the numbers to. Sometimes the page number, size and/or orientation is not reported properly within the file itself. By exporting the file as a PDF using Preview you recreate the file and as you do Preview sets all the page numbers, sizes and orientations again but to the correct settings. Then as pdf Paginate adds the page numbers it is getting the correct page numbers, sizes and orientations from the information in the file that it is paginating. As to your second issue, I can confirm that what you now complain of has always been a feature, as opposed to a bug, in all versions of pdf Paginate Pro. I don’t remember anyone ever complaining about it before although a number of people have said how useful it is. They find it useful because after paginating they can ‘fine tune’ some of the numbers by changing colour, location on the page etc for some odd pages that they have. Thanks again. Francis

Hi Pixi I am sorry to her that you have issues with pdf Paginate Pro. I have not managed to recreate the issue as you describe it. Would you please paginate a pdf and send it to me attached to an email (francis@pdfpaginate.com) and I can then see if I can identify the problem. Thanks Francis
Subtle, simple, and works
It makes what would be a very labourious task, easy. There is a subtle sense of satisfaction and appreciation everytime I use it - money well spent.
If you have to deal with collating documents for bundles etc, you will appreciate this app.
