Excellent At What It does
It is very versitile - as you can chose Text to go either before or after Page Numbers; the size, colour and font used and the location of where the numbers are put.
Furthermore, until the Paginated PDF is subsequently 'Exported' as a PDF you still retain the ability to amend the 'text' on individual pages.
Highly recommended.
Just right

Hi iJaiOnline I haven't been able to make pdf Paginate Pro crash and according to apple of the users who agree to allow me to see crashes it has crashed on one device in the last two weeks. Would you tell me by email, francis@pdfpaginate, more about what you are doing when it crashes please. I can then try to follow up further. Thanks Francis
Would be great if it worked!

Hi Lessig Having read your review I have just checked the functionality of pdf Paginate pro and I found that I could copy, paste and search text from a paginated document. I would be interested to know more about the problems that you have had and I would like to hear from anyone else with such issues so please do email me at francis@pdfpaginate.com. I was not able to find SmallPDF on the Mac Appstore. Francis
It puts the numbers on the pages
Simple and effective
You can also add text before or after the page number, and so write "Page 1 of 12" or "Draft page 1".
It's amazing that the Mac Application "Preview" does not do this, but it doesn't, and so Paginate Pro is the thing to have!
Fine but missing some obvious features
There are some UX features painfully lacking, however. For instance, there's seemingly no way to set defaults for preferred page formatting (which means you have to change the options every time you open the program). This is made all the worse by the fact that white is the default colour for pages?; there's no way to preview the changes or undo pagination, so you're stuck re-opening the file if you don't like what you've done. Trying to re-paginate the same file merely writes new page numbers over top of the old ones.
I think that's it. Given the missing features, I'm not sure the price is worth it.
Saves me hours
Solved my problem quickly and perfectly

Thanks very much for your review. If you want to 'undo' just open your file again before saving it and you will be back where you started. Francis
