It’s alright, but theres some really annoying things.
First of all, it automatically puts my art as mature, even though it’s really not? Nearly everything I have in my gallery was set as mature when it not. I mean, it put a cat and portraits I made as mature, when there isn’t any mature content.
I also get suggested content on the homepage but it’s stuff I really don’t like, such as FNAF or Sonic. I keep selecting the “don’t suggest things like this” but it just appears more and more to the point there’s rarely anything I like suggested.

Technically gets the job done?
So... you can't search for collections. But the tag search and general search seem fine. Can't speak for the posting function, since I haven't tried, but it looks fine. The main issue is that, after using it for too long, the whole app kind of crashes. So, that's kind of annoying. Otherwise it works fine, so... the main issue is just getting back to whatever I was looking at. It's not great, but it definitely works. Until it crashes. It’s good when you don’t have access to Desktop
The Deviantart mobile app is a buggy mess. It doesn’t have all of the features the Desktop version has, neither is it easy to navigate.
It crashes frequently for extremely stupid reasons. Every time I want to open a comment from my notifications, boom it crashes.
The only reason I use the DA mobile app is so I can get pinged whenever something happens on my account. So don’t expect it to be the main place you use DA.
Besides the bugs, the DA mobile app also butchers the quality of any art you try to view. Wanna play a Gif, Too bad. Wanna read a webcomic, prepare for a pixilated mess. Wanna watch your animated Icon, sorry it’s static.
I still use it despite these things because it’s the bare minimum for what I need, but again I wouldn’t use it as your main source of DA.Show lessAyreseraph
Cant open the app

Pretty big setbacks for an otherwise fine app
The app does have potential to be better than slugging through a web browser, but I have one major issue; despite the fact that you can add art to any of your collections, you are unable to look at more than 10 of them on your profile. If this was an intentional design decision, I swear to god. If they fix this, I think the app would at least be usable. So please, FIX THIS. A bit buggy
Love deviant art it’s self it’s awesome and I love posting my art and what not but out of no where the app freezes and shuts off the app and I lose my progress when I’m looking at art or bidding on art which is annoying cause I have to do my search over again if you can work on the bugs I’ll change this to a five star! I really appreciate how the app allows me to scroll through art and how I can zoom in to pieces and can see what I like about the piece and learn from othersShow lesschubbykoalaz
Needs some fixes
The papa has come a long way but it needs some tune ups:
1. Not getting any notifications when I receive notes or the notifications are late or buggy
2. Crashes when trying to reply to click on notification to be taken to the app
3. Not receiving notifications for when I get notifications other than likes and comments
4. Comments for the art prices are messy, click on one and it goes out of order leaving me in a tangles messy cluster of comments which makes it hard to find was was just commented and what was already seen
5. TOO MUCH FEATURES FOR CORE!!! Why can’t everyone get a little slice of core premium features once and awhile, doesn’t really seem fair that core is too expensive AND have more items than the regular members on the app
6. When writing a description for an art piece, after a certain amount of words it goes behind the keyboard and I won’t be able to see what I’m typing or if I need to make corrections, I have to go into another submission format to fix thatShow lessUnknowerUser
What’s with the crashes?
There are a lot of great artists on here, but if you have the app open for about 5 minutes or so, it just bugs the images out when you open them up, and it zooms in, then the image disappears and shows just a black screen. Seconds later, the app will just crash. It gets really annoying, especially with the artists with multiple hundred images, you have to scroll all the way back down to where you were before the crash, just for it to do so again and again.Show lessJ0RD4N THE BE4ST

It’s ok…
I’ve started using the platform to post my art and while it it convenient to have an app but, like the other reviews, the app suffers from so many little annoying bugs. From the app just not knowing what to do when in a different orientation, things not loading properly, not registering my button clicks and many more annoying bugs. I do hope the developers actually get this app updated. So many reviews all saying the same thing.Show lessJBL19984599365
