App has a unwelcomed filtering problem
Despite this mobile app being reliable, this has a big flaw since 2018 when it comes to filtering out uncensored material, and it turns out that despite many of my artwork not visibly being sexually explicit or any type of mature content (even up as Mature Content not checked upon editing it), the mobile app service still keeps sticking to filtering them out as such with a blank, gray icons with an No Entry sign labeled "Mature Content" below it. That issue never happens in mobile and desktop Internet browsers. I was forced to enable Mature Content on the app’s settings in order to see my art collection on my profile. 😡😡😡Show lessMannyPro-1990
Scuffed Moderation
I generally favour this app over others to post my art on, I love the community, the features, etc… But there’s one consistent issue I have. There are times when I’ll go to view one of my many perfectly PG works, and it’ll be marked as mature. The majority of my art all has one thing in common, no suggestive themes, nudity, sensitive themes, or even violence, nothing against the TOS. This especially angers me, because as an individual under the age of 18, I can’t even view my own artwork when this happens.
Not to mention the numerous occasions where I’ve stumbled upon highly sensual art, which still hasn’t been marked as mature, whilst artworks such as mine are being hidden from the larger public vision.
I have yet to figure out how to fix this issue on my own page. So this is simply a fair warning to other artists, this will happen a lot.Show lessR.T. WolfYT
Better off using desktop version
I thought it’d be more convenient to have the app rather than going through a web browser, but boy was I wrong. It lacks a lot of features that the desktop version has and it’s hard to navigate. I can’t edit my profile to the full extent or view things like my bio and links. Also I can’t see any Art that I post, it’s all marked as “mature” on the app even when it isn’t anything bad. When I went through the web browser though, I could see it perfectly fine. I’m not sure if this is only a problem for me, but it’s annoying. I really didn’t think the app would be a big issue for me, but I can’t really do anything except look at what other people post. Even that is buggy sometimes. I’d recommend just using the desktop version through a web browser, having the app is practically pointless.Show less💩💩💩🍪🍪🍪125
Having troubles posting on DeviantArt.
I woke up and I found out that 60% of my content on DeviantArt was filtered out for mature content. Except all of my content is kid friendly. I have read your guidelines. I wanted to post a couple of cosplay and artwork for some reason it got taken down from mature content yet my content is kid friendly. I tried again and post a couple of my cute adorable rabbit photos but for some reason it got taken down. I feel like someone is mass reporting my account.Show lessStylegirl360
My Issues About DA
DeviantArt, I know that you guys want to become more comfortable for the users, but I still have some issues with the new upgrades/updates with the new DA:
1.) On the DA app & website, I can’t scroll through my galleries completely. It’s get stuck on some of the galleries ,that I added, and won’t load.
2.) DA is for everyone, including editing. You added an Gallery Edit feature for the PCs, but not for the mobile users. Trying to play favorites? Add an edit on the galleries for the mobile users (website & app)
3.) I appreciate the block feature on the artist’s page, how about adding an report along on the page?

Want to like it, but it’s been broken recently
Recently they’ve changed the way searches pop up which makes it impossible to find what I want, especially compared to the old system. Also I cannot load my collections as only a few pop up and it bugs out when I try to find the others, although I know the other collections still exist. Lastly, when viewing anyone’s collections, I cannot scroll more then 10 images down before getting an infinite buffering.
These issues occur on both the app and website versions, I used to like going through DeviantArt but now there’s little point in using it as I can’t even save and then look back on anything I look at, or find anything I want to find in the first place.Show lessAura479
Mostly good, needs improvements
It’s good for the most part, but there are several desktop features that app users straight up don’t get and the notifications and refresh systems are so horribly designed that you’d think it was the beta versions of the features from when the site was just getting developed back in the early 2000spotatocat32b
Needs work
Okay so the app is good but it needs to have the same features like editing art work and fanfics. Also needs to solve crashing issues. Fix it soon.
