Definitely needs some work
I think the app could be really great and have lots of potential if it wasn’t so limited and buggy. I sometimes rather use the web browser on phone instead of the app because of the glitches. 1. When scrolling through galleries or collections the image will repeat after scrolling for awhile 2. unable to access certain pages (such as groups) 3. The app not updating as frequently as the web browser. So post and edits sometimes don’t show up on the app but will show up on the web browser. You’d probably be better off just using your moblie browser and desktop deviantart. This app is not pleasant to use. Will this app ever get a proper update so folks can use the moblie app? I spend more time on my phone than desktop so it would be nice to have a functioning moblie app.Show lessSaiaSaia

As someone who’s used Deviantart for a few years now, it’s ridiculous how bad this app still is. Images not loading, bad search filtering, and crashes after long periods are just some of the problems I’ve had. Highly recommend you just use a web browser instead.Harry Walters
Confusing
I like the idea of the app and it is great for mobile browsing etc, however I keep getting recommended posts on my home page for fetish art. I’ve looked around on the app and searched the internet for how to mute tags, stop seeing more like this etc and everything mentions accessing this through account settings. All my account settings has is terms and conditions, privacy policy, help and faq and deactivate my account so not really sure what to do. I have no options on the problem posts to stop seeing more like them either.Show lessChocobopancake
It’s great. However one major issue.
The app was working great for me. However over the last two months. On IOS” the icon for looking at private messages just disappears if the app refreshes. If I wait while without opening the app it sometimes returns. Otherwise I gotta log out and log back in again to get the message icon to appear.
Unless it’s a new setting I’m unaware of. I’d love to know how to fix this as. I can’t fault the app in any other way.Show lessZaneTheZard

It’s weird enough I’m unable to submit deviations via the app, but why are some of my images showing as “mature” content when it isn’t the case…? 🫤RNGrDragon

Doesn’t load pages, crashes, doesn’t show “sensitive” content even though I have all my settings allowing such. Instant uninstall 👋🏼SepticEmoPhan
Good but glitchy
I love this app and have began to use it more often looking for art and posting it myself
But as I used it more I noticed the glitches that it had.
It could just be me but I doubt it.
Some days the app is fine but then as you scroll more and more pictures don’t load and instead are just black squares. Scrolling can be delayed and and lag but the worst glitch is when you are looking through someone’s page but then the app basically reboots and closes itself and then you have to go looking for the page and art that you lost.
I do love this app so I hope these glitches can be sorted.

What happened!?
Picked up the App for the first time in ages to see none stop nudity, I’ve turned off mature content but it’s all just nudity, and turning off mature content in settings has absolutely no affect.
I’m not following anyone. What’s going on with this app now?! Did Deviantart just turn into DeviantPorn?!
Not great when let a small child use your phone.

Just use the website The App is awful
First off: I had the app for over a year, it is just as bad now as it was when I first downloaded it. So this one star comes after tolerating the app for a long time.
I give it one star so hopefully a Developer will notice. I very often find myself closing the app and just pulling the website up on my phone. The App has way way less features, and the ones it does offer are very glitchy. Such as just liking a comment or replying to a comment. Often a like does not save, and very often a response does not actually post.
I never write reviews, but the fact that this app has not been fixed after so long means someone is not doing their job.Show lessCaptain jones
Art is wrongly being labeled as mature content?
I joyously hop on and off of deviant art to post and look at people’s refined art! But when I last posted, my art was blocked off; labeled as mature content! I just posted a simple picture of an warrior cats oc that I was working on for a while now, and your team just blocked off my art and labeled it as mature content so now nobody can see it. It’s just disappointing, because there is nothing wrong with my art. My art is completely normal, there is no blood or inappropriate content, etc. yet you guys go out there to “block” my art because it’s “mature content”? Is it my art style or something? Because if it’s my art style then that’s just even MORE disappointing because I can’t change it anytime soon yet. But if this is a bug then you guys have the responsibility to FIX this glitch because it’s annoying and no one can see my art.
