How can the app be this bad?
My iPad is connected to the R695 by Bluetooth and can play music through the main and zone 2 speakers. My browser connects to the R695 by entering the IP address.
Even so, the Onkyo app just sits there looking dumb and saying it can’t find the hardware.

Almost perfect
I have to say this app has worked absolutely beautiful for me. Easy to use and intuitive. A lot easier to use than the A/V original remote. And I’ve never had a problem with the app finding and/or connecting to the A/V Receiver or WiFi network. I gave the app 4 stars (instead of 5) because there is no option to listen to the audio via Bluetooth headphones, an option that available in other similar apps.Show lessM.rodz

Worked until iOS16 upgrsde
That’s it. After upgrading, Remote3 stopped connecting with my TX-NR717. I suspect UDP blockage, but I won’t swear to it. App goes to Searching screen and I can’t get away from that screen to check settings. I am very disappointed after years of satisfaction with this app.Thorn Plutonius
does not find receiver
My new TX-NR6100 receiver is hard wired on my network, firmware update went fine. Loaded this app to try remote control and it does not see the receiver. I am using the latest Google wireless router plugged into the ATT fiber router. My previous Yamaha receiver worked fine with the same network connection and my iPhone app. Onkyo please modernize this app to work properly or take it off the store.Show lessgreglynn

Needs Zone 2 volume adjust
I would really like have the ability to adjust the zone 2 volume on my TX-NR636. I love having a zone 2 but find it very frustrating that I cannot adjust the volume without going to my zone one room and use the remote to adjust the volume then go back to my zone 2 to see if the level is ok.

Poor poor app
This app worked fine on my old iPhone 6 and my old iPad, but since updating to iPhone 12 and updating my iPad, the app does not work on either device. I have tried turning off the amp, modem and powered off both the iPhone and the iPad as suggested, but still the app cannot find the device. Can’t even rate the app if it doesn’t work!!!!Show lessHi Fi enthusiast
