I love the app
My other half and I have just sold our vehicle and purchased another vehicle. The level of freely available information regarding vehicles available for sale in the public domain is phenomenal. This app, “The Total Car Check” does an amazing job of bringing them all together in one place. Moreover, once you’ve decided you have quite an interest in a particular car or brand, for a very reasonable fee, you can buy a few comprehensive car checks that allows you to dig deeper into the history and maintenance of a car. Even the free car checks have proved very valuable to us, as they alerted us to cars with very bad service histories, leaky oil engines and tampered odometer readings! It is worth registering for a free account, which only takes a few moments & gives one access to more information such as how much the car has sold for in the past, where that information is available. I CAN’T RECOMMEND THE APP ENOUGH IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A USED VEHICLE - It gives you lots of information, but you still need to make sure you do your own checks & research & are vigilant in what you look out for in a car you’re interested in!Show lessBusyBee7000

Well worth the money
So pleased I paid for my gold report. Assuming a Ford Main Dealer would supply me a 5 year old car with no hidden history was a mistake. Although shocked I’d just paid for a stolen recovered car (yes, stupidly should have done it before) from what I deemed a trustworthy main agent, I was so pleased TotalCarCheck had full information on the hidden history of the car giving me time to reject it.Show lessRicardo hhh

I work in the trade but generally just as a driver and find the cost of similar apps impossible to justify. I use this app often to check the mot and tax status of vehicles normally collected from auction sites. Saves displaying trade plates when a vehicle still shows as taxed. Since it’s introduction I’ve had this app on my phone with the kids cars as well..from the basic of info that one has when chasing a new purchase ie mileage-History from previous MOT’s
Too back in the day at auction & check the basic mot mileage to confirm it’s history.
Nobody likes to buy a “Pup” & this is a very usual tool

An absolute must have for anybody thinking of buying a car. The basic app is free and contains much of the information on a car including mileage, road tax and MOT including passes, fails and advisories. I’ve been looking for a new ( used) car and trying to find you way around all the available cars and their specs and history can be a nightmare. Best app for car check
I’ve been using it for couple of years now amd is just spot on, the free information is plenty, when you are sure on a cat just pay the extra 10£ or something like this and get the full history. I only do that after i’ve decided on a car and i want to see if it had a written off or something like that.Show lessbuhuhueuu
Total car check app “free”
You can’t get much for free? Well you can with this app it’s amazing check tax due date mot date if money owed on car if stolen etc. And really useful if you have an accident you can check that the other car is insured on the spot. There are also a lot more features if you pay a relatively small fee (I’ve not yet needed this), which is good to have there if you need it! Best free car checker on the market
I have used this app for over a year, come in handy many of times with a simple click of a button. More in-depth checks available at a cost however the free info is good so I imagine you get what you pay for and not expensive either well worth a tenner if your going to spend £££££’s on a car .NAT114N
