I would appreciate the ability to edit activity duration post workout incase you forgot to turn it off and have the app re-calculate the calorie count accordingly. An indicator showing when it’s connected/not connected to an external heart-rate monitor (chest strap). Apple Watch app does not save metrics how you had them set from the previous workouts, you have to keep entering what you want to show (HR, Cal, Distance, etc.) and where every time, really annoying. Not bad overall. would be nice to be able to download your own data to review your history of exercising.

The FITIV Team 🚴♀️💪🌟I’ve been using iCardio for about a decade and was having some issues with it so decided to try FITIV. Overall it’s well designed and provides solid basic workout tracking. A few things that would greatly improve it in my view:
1) Integration with Siri works well, but pausing and resuming the workout requires you to unlock the screen, which obviates most of the utility since you generally want to do this when accessing the phone is not convenient. 2) Although i have turned on a feature that pauses the workout when you stop, it does not appear to be working. 3) There is a countdown to the start of the workout, but it is 3-2-1 go. So you can’t set it for N minutes ahead for when you will be ready (such as after getting your phone securely stowed!).

The FITIV Team 🚴♀️💪🎉Pretty accurate easy to use. However while running sometimes when you try to pause or cancel the buttons disappear, if you try closing the app and open it up again it will appear again but it messes up the data (kilometers ran, calories and pace)
A lot of good features but nothing is more frustrating than having a timed workout and the app will not let you stop the clock. After repeated tries of whatching the stop button swipe by you may get lucky and get the stop button to remain visible so you can touch it to stop the timing. Obviously this makes timing your workouts and charting your progress useless. No response from the developer in spite of sending them details. Were it not for this bug, this could be a great app.
After another year or so of usage, same problem. Swiping to get the “done” button just sends the button to the right never to return unless you exit the app, try it again, and keep repeating until the “done” is accessible. By this time you have added 15 plus seconds to your workout so the time is meaningless. Why don’t they just fix this ?

The FITIV Team 🚴♀️💪🎉I am a OC and dragon boat paddler and this app has been incredible! First of all most apps don’t even have a paddler option for workouts- mostly running and indoor machines. 1. The graphics and layout are fun and easy to read. Which is nice when you are trying to gather data on your workouts. I hate an ugly app. 2. Easily links to my heart monitor, whether it’s my Apple Watch or the strap. 3. The voice option is perfect when I’m out on the water ... I link to my headphones to my phone and during training, the app will tell me my heart rate, calories burned, distance, etc. which is valuable when you have to know what your body is doing and how to push it or ease up. 4. Completely worth the money. This app has dramatically helped my training and I tell everyone about it.

It is the most user friendly and aesthetically appealing of all the heart rate monitors I tried. I use it with a Polar strap and my phone, I don’t own a smart watch. After two years of no issues, the app kept crashing. I tried updating the app, deleting and reinstalling, but neither helped. I emailed the company and didn’t really expect to hear back. Not only did they write back but they escalated the issue and 1-2 weeks later, sent me a beta version to test that they think fixed the issue. It has been a few weeks now and I haven’t had any problems. I am very grateful they took my concern seriously and actually fixed the problem.
