  • I’ve never had to review an app before, but this is one of the worsts.

This is one of the worst apps I’ve used to mobile order. I’m surprised that it was updated 2 months ago, because it still very bad.

Can we talk about the customization portion? Extremely confusing and you can mess up very easily. Then you go back into fix one thing and it wipes your whole order besides the one thing you just fixed. Also all the other reviews I’ve read I’ve had those issues as well.

It also constantly doesn’t remember your location, order choices and if you leave the app it cancels and restarts.

**You need to contact the people who designed/ built this app and get your money back and or have them fix it because you’re losing customers, or are you not reading all the bad reviews? There are thousands of apps that work incredibly well, it shouldn’t be that hard for them to fix/ re-do.***

I only use it because you have to wait extremely long for your food if you order in store. But too many problems for me to really order from here at all anymore.

    1. Extremely expensive food
    2. Very long wait times and rude staff (so far at 4 different locations I’ve been at)
    3. And mobile ordering app is horrendous

I no longer see the value in this restraint chain.

How you can fix these issues soon.

  • Terrible for purchases

Because the app puts the payment flow in a webview, it’s a pretty miserable experience. If you leave the app, while on the payment page, returning to the app puts you right back at step 1 of the purchase. This breaks the ability to copy/paste payment info from a LastPass or another digital vault (the webview disables the paste!). Instead, you need to have your physical card and even provide your address (Why? Marketing?).

Of course, this could all be avoided if the flow was a native experience with ApplePay integration. VitalityBowls probably doesn’t want to give Apple their cut though, so you’re stuck with a payment flow that’s too hard to use, and I’m not saving my card with.

  • Payments unusable if you live in an apartment

The "Billing Address" field within the app's payment section does not have an Address Line 2. Therefore, if you live in an apartment and your credit card's billing address requires this information, you literally cannot purchase anything from within the app (or you need to pay upon pickup, which is not ideal during COVID-19 times).

  • Foods great. App is Buggy

Took 3 attempts to place an order because the location kept resetting.

Also the “6” character doesn’t work when entering your phone number..p There is no Autofill compatibility so you have to enter all of your card, billing and contact info manually.

Would like to see Apple Pay added. It’d speed up this process a lot.

  • Inefficient app, not the best of service today

I agree with others that the app is not very good. It does not do a good job of picking up your location. Plus, the technology is clunky. It just isn’t efficient.

Normally, I get good service when I come to a Vitality Bowls, but today they didn’t answer any of my calls (I called four times in a row because u couldn’t get the app to work), and when I came into the store they weren’t very friendly. This is the Martinelli Dublin location. I hope today is just an off day for them.

  • Difficult to use and especially unreliable.

Even when all goes well, going through the checkout process is kind of confusing. Making it worse are all the bugs! Orders often reset randomly and have to be started over from scratch. It’s almost impossible to enter a credit card number. And the app. sometimes crashes when making text input.
  • Fix the app

The food is the best. I’m eating there almost every day. The app is nearly useless except for keeping track of points. So the restaurant gets 5 stars and the app gets 1 star.
  • Bowls and drinks are great, but app and order mistakes are not

App has many bugs. It can’t pick up location, save a favorite location, or save a previous order. Selecting ingredients are difficult in the app. It doesn’t default/tick the items standard in the selected item. So if you select “no on top granola” instead of the standard “granola inside” you may still get some granola when you are trying to make the thing gluten free and add gluten free granola. You should mark your item gluten allergy. It also is a drag if you substitute gluten free for regular you get an up charge and they put a minuscule amount in there. My location messes up the order 50% of the time and makes the standard even when modifications. Some employees don’t put a label on the bag and we’ve also had issues of getting someone else’s order. It’s a shame that the technology and the lack of good procedures and processes make this place less than it could be.

  • In love with this place

I was very skeptical at first when I went in but after that first bite, I have been hooked ever since. I love the healthy alternative over grabbing a burger and fries. I could be a poster child for them. Lol!!!
  • Favorite food/smoothie place!!🍉🥥😋

There smoothie bowls are so delicious and filling, there smoothies are awesome! I love going there after my gymnastics class and ballet class! My only complaint is that It’s expensive and service is slow sometimes. Otherwise, I definitely recommend‼️🤪
