Really good, but it needs an update for the junk folder

This is a really good app, but it needs more control over the junk folder. I have my filters set to max when it comes to making sure that all unknown senders get thrown into the junk folder, but in order for me to say it’s from a safe sender, I have to log into my outlook from the desktop version, which seems nuts to me. Why not just be able to do it in the app? I keep getting sent mail from random spam companies, of which I would be inundated with 4-6 emails a day (every day) who were trying to get me to click on nefarious links, which were making it into my inbox every single time. Their titles and headings meant that Outlook’s filters were just not picking them up, so I had to set my filters to max, which sent every unknown email into my junk folder. This is good, but it means that I occasionally have to add a known company, or sender to my safe sender’s list, but the control to do that, is not currently in this app. Please can this be rectified? Thanks.

Had to delete after latest update.

I’ve been a fan of Outlook on iPhone for the past couple of years, but that all changed last week. The app started asking for my Yahoo and Gmail passwords but wouldn't update any of my emails. I ended up missing an important message because it simply wouldn't refresh. Ironically, the app still managed to push its own spam emails to the top of my feed, while my important emails didn’t come through. After deleting and reinstalling the app, I was met with a frustrating "updating" message that never went away, and it still wouldn't show any new emails from a certain date. Hats off to Microsoft for crippling their own app. I’ve since switched back to Apple Mail, which might be slower than Outlook, but at least I'm receiving all my emails without the annoying spam ads cluttering my inbox. Curiously, I've also noticed a significant drop of spam emails in my junk folder?! Could it be that Microsoft was somehow funnelling more junk mail to me than I actually had, might be just a coincidence!

Why change UI unnecessarily?!

The product owner for this app who OK’d changing the bottom left bar to now show a Delete icon when viewing emails is a terrible product owner. Do you not know what muscle memory is?! I’m now constantly unintentionally deleting emails because of this useless UI change. What a joke!

Great except for junk mail handling

The iOS client does have a “not junk” option for good messages incorrectly labelled as junk, but although I use it to whitelist a sender, it doesn’t “stick”. So the next time that sender sends an email it again goes into the junk folder. By contrast the Windows 365 Outlook app does this perfectly. Please improve this functionality….

And the app desperately needs some automation features such as rules to enable better self-management of email. I use my iPad for a morning review of all my email. It would make such a difference if the iOS app had the same level of rule-handling and spam detection as Windows Outlook app has. It frustrates me that I have to do manually what would happen automatically on Windows with its great rules and spam detection.

Expert services with a track record of successfully recovering cryptocurrency and other lost data.

I recently fall into a big scam from a trading platform called Interactive Brokers LLC trading, Unfortunately for me, I invested 55,000 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 260,000 USD within a couple of weeks. But i didn't realize i was dealing with a scam company, until i tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because i could not afford to let it go.
So i tried all possible means to make sure i recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum where a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptocurrency, funds with the help of tecwizardpro @ gmail. So i file a report and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds within 3hrs i feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam, reach out to tecwizardpro @ gmail

Works fine BUT…

Keeps trying to update when not connected to Wifi. I dont use mobile data to update any apps so this disabled for the App Store on my devices. However, the app still attempts to update which cause it to cease until I’m connected back to Wifi which it then resumes downloading.
Annoying because it’s the only App I have currently installed that does this. I cant check emails while it’s stuck.

Being served ads when I’m a paying customer

I’ve been fairly happy with Outlook for many years; I use it as the mail client on my phone, even though it is less of a seamless experience than it used to be since they removed the ability to manage everything through the web client.
However. Last week I started getting ads at the top of my inbox. When I clicked “why am I seeing this ad” I got an explanation that it is within the terms of using the free version. I have been a paying customer with a 365 for business account for over a decade. Lose the ads, or refund me.

Needs to be improved.

Remove icons or add to the settings the ability to disable the icons next to emails! Who’s idea was that?! This is taking up too much space and looks extremely ugly. Who needs a large circle with 2 letters in in when the sender is shown anyway in the list.
You must add a print button to print PDF attachments. Currently you have to click on „share via“ to print. This does not make sense.
You must allow the user to add folders as favourites to the right hand menu where accounts appear. Currently you have to open account and jump into a folder. Pinning folders there would make it faster to access.
Swiping to unread or read an email is taking too long. Any swipes should take effect much faster.
