Main page doesn’t even load

Can’t even book a cab with just a empty page showing. So buggy.

App gets worse and worse

Grab is eating Zig’s lunch. The Zig app is very buggy now, so much that I hate to use it. Major issue: freezing app. If I book, then leave the app, I come back to a spinning wheel and no activity. I have to quit the app and restart to see if the taxi is moving towards me. Second, the updates on taxi movement are much worse than Grab. The realtime updates work ¼ of the time. Most of the time, the taxi appears stationary for 5 minutes, tempting me to cancel. But then I can’t cancel because the app is frozen again. I used to use Comfort all the time, but this is driving me away (pun intended).

Dear Sir/Mdm, if you have already updated the CDG Zig App to the latest version (v6.5.2), you may need to uninstall and reinstall it again to resolve the issue. However, if you still continue to encounter the same issue after reinstalling, please write to us at feedback@cdgtaxi.com.sg with a screen recording and we will do our best to assist you.

virtually unusable

this app takes a long time to load. I have a US-based phone number and it would not let me type the phone number in. I had to cheat and copy and paste the phone number for it to be accepted.

I have been unable to verify my email, and every time the app loads, it takes a very long time.

Location tracking also does not seem to be very accurate. It shows me to be a block away from where I actually am and when I try to update the location, I end up giving up because, it never loads the location and I force quit the app.

Unable to sign up

The app restricts phone number length and many folks from North America will have an issue signing up to use the app. Please fix.

Feeling lucky? Use them

Their service is completely unreliable in Singapore. At most times ordering a taxi takes time. At some times it is literally impossible. Stick to other services if you value your time

Hidden 10% admin fee

I like using comfort taxis when the price is comparable to grab/gojek because normally they arrive faster and know where they’re going. But I’ve noticed a 10% “net admin fee” recently on my receipts, which quite frankly annoyed me and makes the comparable fares no longer that comparable.

Sneaky money grab if you ask me. Tell me the full fare up front instead of sneaking it on me at the end on a receipt you know I probably won’t read.

Dear Sir/Mdm, thank you for your feedback. The metered fare option will incur a 10% admin fee with GST for credit card payments. To enjoy this admin fee waiver, you may wish to use your preferred credit cards into the app through the Manage Payment feature and book for ComfortRide. Hope this explains.

Doesn’t work with Canadian or U.S. numbers

The initial app setup requires entering a phone number but the app only allows 8 digits to be entered so it is useless. Very frustrating! Even more so because cars can’t be booked from their website and app support is a bot with very limited functionality.

Unable to sign up with USA phone number

I was told this was the app to use while I was visiting Singapore. When I attempted to create my account I was unable to input my cell / what’s app phone number. Seemed to allow to enter the first 7 digits, but not the last 3. Had to get the less preferred app in order to order cars.

Broken for US phones

Used to be my go-to Taxi app but for the past couple of years I haven’t been able to book nor pay for a street hail. Even once you hack your way through registration (by copy/pasting your phone number into the text field), you’re met with an eternally spinning hourglass whenever you try to book or pay
