Themes too repetitive
So overall, great app. I even purchased the inflated 13$ or whatever price. But my only gripe is that there is so much Christian/catholic content. I get that this is an app and the creators are free to include whatever content they wish. But I think it’s enough religious content that it should be included in the description of the app.
Like, after the 100th puzzle with book titles from the Bible or have “idol” be an answer for the clue “false god”, it kind of gets tiring and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
I’m not religious, but I’m also not ethnically Christian. But, like I said at the top, there is just Christian/catholic clues in practically all the puzzles and it should be indicated in the description so I don’t have to feel like I wasted my money on an app that has too similar content between all the puzzles.Show lessUshwyn
Loud ads override mute switch
This is an otherwise excellent app made useless by ads that override the phone’s silent switch. Too many times I’ve just finished a puzzle and I’m shocked by a loud noise from the ad that just started. My silent switch is on, and my phone is in night mode because it’s the middle of the night. There is nothing else I’m aware that I can do to make it clear that I don’t want noise. It wakes me further and also disturbs my wife’s sleep. I’m OK with ads I have to watch for a few seconds, and I can even tolerate those **** tiny exes I have to tap on to close the ad. But intentionally overriding my obvious intent to not be disturbed is too much. I’m done. I’m deleting the app. I’ll find something else to do when I can’t sleep.Show lessSteeeeeeevvvveeeeeM
Ad Free Fee
This time last year it was $15.99 to remove ads, up to last week it was $17.99, and now it’s $20.99 to remove ads. I will gladly watch that little fish get dumped on lava or the fat king get crushed to avoid paying anything for ads. What a joke.Chubakkas

I’ve been using this app for a few years now (~730 completed puzzles) and have had almost no major problems (none recently). It occasionally seems like the keyboard could *maybe* be a little more sensitive but it’s not bad at all.
In addition to simply enjoying playing it for entertainment (and mental exercise) almost daily, I’ve actually used this app to help get me through some very difficult times of anxiety and insomnia. So a huge thanks to the developers for making a simple, stable app that stays updated with new crosswords!Show lesssettsu
Apps Not Syncing Between Devices
First off, I love crossword puzzles and I really like this app. I’ve had the free version for quite sometime and finally took the plunge for the ad-free version. What I’d hope to find was syncing between the apps. The iPad and iPhone versions do not appear to be “talking”. My completed puzzles are matching, even the ones in progress aren’t matching. That’s my biggest issue. One other issue is the filtering. I like being about to sort by size and difficulty but would really like to be able to sort by creator. And maybe even some sort of order to the main page, alphabetical or numerical. Everything inside the puzzles themselves I like. They’re responsive to touch and do not feel clunky in the least. I am happy to support this team by paying for the app because of all the hours of enjoyment I’ve had over time. The aforementioned issues aside, this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ app.Show lessZambezi Zinger

I really enjoy this app, I play almost every day. The puzzles are challenging, clues are clever. Please, please, update your list of excluded words however. I've come across slurs used in the puzzles, for example *skimo & g*psy. These are words identified by the groups they refer to as incorrect, insulting, painful, etc. The words should not be included in puzzles for anyone's entertainment. I'll be happy to raise my rating once this is addressed appropriately.
