Not good lots of bugs, finally got it working and barely captures anything and when it does most of the time it does not save, don’t buy this product.
Cannot add new device
The new version does not allow the input of WiFi name, I am unable to add any new device to it.

Why don’t push notifications work in this app, should be simple enough it’s there, just doesn’t work
Great App for Solar I-cam
Overall I am impressed with the setup and functionality of the app and camera. I have the camera attached to an robotic mower to provide observations of its performance and location. Unlike others I have no issues with app crashes and motion sensed notification.
Horrible APP and camera
Don’t waste your money, camera doesn’t work 80% of the time. Instructions were terrible, no tech support. Basically a piece of useless junk. And the producers don’t even care. Made in China of course.

iOS communication failures & frozen images
The iOS Apple version of the I-Cam App fails to establish device communication with a 50% to 75% failure rate. After repeated attempts to gain access to the camera I have rebooted my iPhone, exited and relaunched the App numerous times, changed multiple device settings and checked for software updates. No change to the device communication failures.
Once device access is achieved, the streaming video freezes after 1 or2 seconds. The frozen streaming video failure occurs 100% of the time. I rebooted my iPhone, exited and relaunched the App numerous times, changed multiple device settings and checked for software updates. No change in the frozen video streaming.

PIR Detection is Worthless
I do not know if the problem is software or camera hardware related. When you purchase a “security camera” I think you’d expect it to detect movement. The images displayed are very clear and well focused, BUT motion detection rarely works and when it does, the recording starts after the event occurs. I have purposely tried to trigger motion while changing every setting for optimal performance. One camera only picks up a large vehicle if you drive right up to it and the other does trigger events more often but always misses what you’d like recorded. If this isn’t resolved I will be replacing this crap with anything else. I have a $20 Samsung Cam that catches every sound and movement if I want it to. I just wanted the solar charging ability. What a waste.

Not bad overall
The solar charging seems to work really well. The zoom with simulated pan and tilt is cool and works well. One major fault, the paired wifi MUST have SSID broadcasts all the time. If you disable SSID broadcasting on your wifi the camera will disconnect, even if it is already paired to that SSID. I hope the developer fixes this ASAP.

Just noticed an update was posted. I don’t read Chinese and would like to know what was in the update? Happy enough with the product. Does what it says though more options would be encouraged. Probably biggest criticism would be audio, poor at best
