App Has Stopped Working
Buyer beware! The app doesn’t work with recent versions of iOS. The camera will not connect to my iPhone on iOS 13.3, but our old iPad running iOS 10 works without issue. Delete, reinstall, reset all you like; the app won’t see that you’re connected to the camera’s Wifi. The camera hardware is good but if you want longevity and good software support, pay for the GoPro.
To get photos off the camera you’ll need a microSD card reader, OTG cable or a computer. You cannot control the camera remotely anymore.JBallweg
Great app until recent update
I have the Yi Lite Action Camera and I always used this app to link the camera to my phone and download the photos and videos to my phone. But it seems like it's not wanting to connect with my camera anymore. Not sure what the issue could be there. It's overall a great app but this connectivity issue just started happeningsheldonotis
Don’t buy this
There is lack of operating manual and how to use the device and the features right from the get go. There is no communication regarding the software upgrade and catching up with IOS updates. The camera stops pairing w iPhone video so you can’t use it on your helmet skiing. The microphone picks up the annoying noise even when it is shielded in the glass case.skier 12
Broken app
Got a Yi Lite Action camera after doing lots of research online, downloaded the app and tried connecting to my camera, every single time I get to the step where I click “Connect to WiFi now” I connect to it, go back to the app and I’m still at the page of “Connect to WiFi now” even when I’m connected. I’ve tried everything. It’s busted and the developers are not going to update it since they have moved on. DO NOT CHEAP OUT GET THE GOPROKillaSammich
After iso 13 update nothing.
I have the yi action camera. Everything was working fine between the phone and camera up until latest apple software update. I thought camera was broke or being an older model. Then I was reading other reviews and other are having same problem with different models. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.Sacman23
Problem with connecting

Used to work great, but not with iOS 13
I have used this many many times iver the last couple of years for recording Table Tennis matches and pinball machine play, but the WiFi will no longer connect after iOS 13 update on my iPhone.
Hope they update the software soon! When it was working I would rate it a 4 or 5._Doxie_
Stay away
Camera worked great until it didn’t. Had this camera for less than a year and already the WiFi no longer works. Seen several other users report the same issue.kayakangler27
Stopped working for iOS 13
I have invested quite a bit into these cameras. I have 4 of them and extra batteries and chargers and use them regularly. iOS 13 comes around and I can no longer use this app or any other to connect. No info on their site. No info on the internet. I’m stuck with over 1000$ investment into this platform and can no longer connect to them to check the picture on cams set up to shoot video or grab footage off in the field easily. Wifi issues on ios 13.1.3
I've been download this app and running on iphone 7 with ios 13.1.3
After updating ios i cant pair my yi action cam apps with my phone. Please help if there is an issues on this.
