Can not connect after iOS 13 update
Having to remove the SD card and use a reader defeats the entire purpose of having a camera that is supposed to connect via wi-fi. Used to work previously. After the iOS update, as many have said, it will not connect. Need to get your developers on this for a fix ASAP!ArtistBrock
Won’t Connect
Would the developers please fix the bug issues with connecting devices into the application through the phone? I can’t seem to connect the camera anymore since the latest IOS updates.kraven_6
Worked well until IOS 13.1.2
Have used this app many times over the past year and a half to control a YI action camera 4K to record youth hockey games. Very satisfied, great video, always connected to iPhone 6S and to iPad Pro. Very recently, the app suddenly stopped connecting even though the iPhone was properly connected the YI WiFi network. The camera is updated with the latest firmware. The app has been refreshed. Following the same procedure that had worked dozens of times in the,past. The only change I can point to is the recent update to IOS 13.1.2. Stopped working after that update.Bldruner20
Connection issues
Ugh... camera works great but the app not so much. Has worked fine before but now won’t connect at all to the app. I say the app because my camera and phone connect fine with the action camera pro app but that’s also useless because you can’t see anything with the lag and your camera will die before anything gets uploaded.mustangal101
Worked Great For Years... iOS 13.0 Killed the App
I have both an Yi4K and a Yi4K+. Neither will pair following update to iOS 13.0. WiFi joins the camera’s network in settings. App doesn’t recognize that the phone is connected.
The camera is fantastic... only action camera I’ve found that doesn’t overheat after 2+ hours of use in 90+ degrees F in the sun filming soccer games (USB battery for power). Please fix the app!Scott-DH
Live Streaming
Purchased 4K+ couple weeks ago to live stream on Facebook (high school baseball games, youth baseball games, etc...). Several issues with the app. The main one for me, you cannot live stream. I have called Yi directly multiple times, emailed Yi several times, sent them FB messages, etc...
First time calling the lady didn’t understand why it wouldn’t work for me. Later in the conversation she tells me tech dept is working on a new firmware update that will fix the problem and they have known about this issue. She then proceeds to tell me it will be released in one week (didn’t happen). So I called back and talked to a different person. He didn’t know anything about the firmware update. He did talk to the tech dept and they told him a new firmware will come out in future for various items.
Email responses tell me to visit the website and read the tutorials or delete Yi action app and reload. I guess you don’t think I tried all of this.
Don’t waste your time with these Yi action cameras or app. They crash at random times, audio is horrible, live streaming doesn’t work, customer service doesn’t know what is going on but will tell you what you want to hear.Roach437

Nice camera, poor interoperability
It’s hard to express the level of frustration I experience trying to get content *off* of the camera. The app constantly crashes, and I’m unable to use it for any interaction with the camera.

Crashes WAY too much
This app crashes CONSTANTLY! It’s honestly a waste of time. If and when it works it’s fine. But having to keep trying to load the app back, to back, to back, to back, to back, to back, to back, to back, is almost as stupid as typing back to back that many times! If you don’t want continue to work out bugs and update your app sell the tech to another company!Da Bishop
Glitchy garbage WiFi connection
This is terrible way to connect the camera to the app it really should be Bluetooth. The app won’t open until the camera and phones data service has been disabled I expected more from this product it is very upsetting and frustratingMO303knives
