Hi Brieseyfbaby, we understand the frustration that you feel when an event is postponed or cancelled and it takes awhile for you to get a confirmed update about your event's status. We set the year to 2099 in our system to separate the events that are in the process of being cancelled or are postponed without a confirmed new date. This helps us keep an eye on events that need to be monitored for those updates from venues, and is not intended to be reflective of a genuine date - it's only for organizational purposes and to make it clear that the event has not yet taken place. If the event is fully cancelled by the venue and they are voiding all existing tickets with no intent to honor them for a future date with the same performer, then you will be compensated in full for your order once we confirm how the venue would like us to handle tickets that have already been delivered. In some cases they may require you to return the tickets so that we can issue compensation. We're working hard to get updates on your event and will contact you via email as soon as we hear more. If you have any documentation from the venue or the original issuer of the tickets regarding the status of the event, please feel free to forward that to our support email address at support@vividseats.com, and include your order number in the subject line.
