App Not Working Jan/Feb 2021
The app will not open, for anyone. You click on it, you see the logo, and then it just crashes and goes away. We no longer have control of our lights. We cannot change anything on our lights. All the features are gone. Is anyone still updating this app, does anyone care? Help your customers, please!!

Stoped working
Been working for last two years recently just stopped working app opens then crashes doesn’t look like it’s been updated in four yearsI bought these lights so that I can control them via Bluetooth now they’re useless if I can’t control
App doesn’t work, and the light needs the app!
I set up the light and it turned on. Then I downloaded the app, connected to the light, and set up a password. Then, once I try adjusting the settings by tapping on the light icon, it says I need to “set up” the light again. I repeated this process 10+ times. The light needs to app to function properly, but the app does not work! Now I have to return the light because of an app issue! So frustrating. Does anyone from Defiant look at these reviews?!

Defiant App Is absolutely DEFIANT to operation
App is worthless. I was able to install on iPhone 7s, but after install, pressing the icon only resulted in options for resetting to factory default on install... I will probably have to replace fixture. Definitely not happy with product or Home Depot for selling such inferior products with so many negative reviews. Obviously, I didn’t read the reviews prior to purchase. Shame on me.

App does not work
I wish I had read the reviews before buying and installing this fixture. The app does not work. It cannot find the light fixture. I tried everything and had the same issues noted in other customer reviews. The software has not been updated in 3 years. Also, the light does not stay on all night, it shuts off after a few hours. And I cannot change the settings since the app does not work. It is too bad Home Depot still carries this item. The only way to test is to install it, and I paid someone to do that. Now I have to pay them to uninstall it and put in a different fixture- from a different manufacturer.

Great app and the light works perfectly fine.
Easy to install. The light works perfectly fine. The Bluetooth is a nice touch, it is nice to control your light settings with your phone.
Doesn’t work!!
This app is useless. It finds the light via Bluetooth but when yo set the options and select the save button it’s like it doesn’t know what you want. Choose the Overide option and eventually it defaults back to factory settings. I can’t get this light to pay any attention to the settings I select. This light is going back to the retailer!!

So frustrating
I bought this light at Home Depot and installed it, but the app is terrible. I’ve paired the light with the app, but there is no settings page or options for the light. It just keeps making me name the light and create a password and then does the same thing again and again. I can’t adjust the settings and the light stays on all the time. It’s not detecting motion at all. Please help!

Too Bright
Please update product//app/whatever so light can be dimmed to desired brightness. Not good for mood lighting on the patio sitting around a fire. In fact, if you want stadium lighting to light up the entire block, get this light and annoy your neighbors!! Only way I can get to desired dimness is to hang a white t-shirt over the light.

Horrible Product and App
The Bluetooth feature is a total con. I was never able to get the app to connect with the fixture even by holding up the phone right next to it. Now the light won’t turn off and I have no way to control it.
We had an electrician come and install the light so at this point I would lose time and money returning it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
