Poor account security and support. Be cautious linking payment methods and gift cards.
I contacted support again in February 2024 and attached proof of my previous attempt to remedy the issue. I've again only received the initial response despite asking additional questions and am still out all the rewards cash and gift card value from my previous account.
All in all I'm out around $60 in total which isn't a huge amount but enough for me to not just want to eat because the app support staff are incompetence. I have some theories on the problem but regardless the cause, this experience does not flatter whichever execs are in charge of the app and reward program. I will try again to get my money back but at this point I am not confidential it will be fixed and would strongly caution anyone against connecting anything of value to the app.

Cafe Rio, please fix this asap. Only a white screen since last app update. I have been using the app since it’s existence and despite its quirks it has worked and slowly improved. I will change rating back to 5 stars when you get it working… Update 7/3 - app update did not fix the problem..
They finally fixed expired payment source but...
They have fixed flaw #2 and almost fixed #1. However, the reordering is still broken to where I can't use it because it charges you full price for Taco Tuesday tacos. That is the only time I order Cafe Rio, thus the function is completely useless and broken.
Maybe one day they'll fix it, but it will take years apparently.
