Perfect Thesaurus
I installed this ap after my Seiko spellchecker packed up.
Since installing it, I use it every day if I am stuck with crosswords.
I think I can honestly say it never lets me down with the words that I am looking for. It will also let you put in more than one word when searching for your answer.

this app sucks. they give you a list of synonyms, most of which are not relevant to the word you are looking up. you have to make an account to see any words past the letter b or c which makes it impossible to see any possible words you can use. you are better off using thesaurus.comauntymaks

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that even unregistered users can use search list (it's located over any list of synonyms) to see synonyms after c. Also many users find Power Thesaurus very useful for their needs.Great resource to expand my expression world

I adore this app. It’s my go-to source for finding words that have just the nuance I intend. The app has improved my writing because it makes it easy to express the right shade of meaning — far easier than relying on my every-day, front-of-the-mind vocabulary. Back in the day, I relied on the Microsoft Word thesaurus and online thesaurus tools. But, after MS made their tool nearly useless, my search for an alternative led me to Power Thesaurus. I really really hate adware. This app is very good but I will just delete it soon. Will put it back if I can pay to remove ads.

This app is fantastic. Better than any book-based thesaurus that I’ve used as it has crowdsourced updating. I would say it needs to be on anybody’s list of essential apps. I mainly use it for crosswords and the pattern matching is incredibly useful for that. My only small gripe is that is could do with a custom keyboard with ? and * on it as flipping between the two standard keyboards when matching is a bit of a pain.Show lessChris hevey

I am a vocabulary connoisseur by nature, I have used many of the dictionary sites/apps over the years as they have introduced so many new options and this app is one of the best in it’s category offering consistently updated/new information including the opportunity for public engagement/input, a direct benefit for those of us who are consistently pursuing both the well-rounded ability for use of the endlessly abundant vocabulary words in the English language as well as a much broader yet uniquely intriguing sense of the importance in regards to attaining confident communication skills.Show lessM.Hughes107
