Worst App Ever
The app requires location tracking all of the time. WHY???? I do not want this.
Therefore, every time I use the app I go into settings to turn this feature on/off. There is absolutely NO reason for them to have location tracking on beyond when I am actually using it to get in and out of the garage.

We aim to make ZipBy App as user friendly as possible, we cover so many aspects of parking that other apps may not cover which makes ZipBy a leader in our field by providing a parking Entry, Exit and Payment Processing System that Car Parking sites can use, as we cover both Zoned (On-Street, Parking Lots etc) and Gated (Car Parks/ Parking Facilities with access gates and equipment) areas within the one app so with ZipBy there is now no need to have multiple parking apps to cover different parking locations. Have you been able to contact the parking management team on site? We are just the service provider for the site. For these types of queries, you need to reach out to the parking management team of the site so they can assist in having your open session closed off. @ZipBy
Getting rid of this app - doesn’t work well
Update:
Would love the developers to explain why they have to have constant access to my location if they don’t track it? Apparently the app pinged my location in the background 69 times in a three day period last week. I only used it to park one of those days.

We have been listening to you all, and making positive updated to our app. Location is required so you are able to locate the parking Facilities/ Areas/ Zones and Lots using the FIND US icon in your ZipBy App. The FIND US Icon will, within an average of 1km radius, bring up any Facilities/ Areas/ Zones and Lots that have this enabled for their sites, making it easier to locate and pay for your parking. If your local Parking Facilities/ Areas/ Zones or Lots are not visible in the FIND US Icon, please let either them or us know so they can enable this feature for their site. Fake promo and garbage app
Why the heck a parking app needs so many personal information? Why does it needs to track my location always? Why after enabled location this app doesn’t even freaking know that I am on the parking lot? Why the payment method can’t be deleted if I decided to not use this anymore?

Each individual site may apply discounts for their parking and this is outside of ZipBy's control as each site manage's their parking facility differently, have you been in contact with the carpark regarding their discount? We are sorry to hear that you had to spend this amount of time to sign up with us. We do have a simple sign up process only requiring login details, payment details and certain permissions, so it should only take a few mins to sign up with us via the app especially if your data and mobile reception is good. ZipBy is located at several parking facilities worldwide, making it easier for you to park and pay for your sessions, and now you are already signed up it should be much easier for you. Location is required so you are able to locate the parking Facilities/ Areas/ Zones and Lots using the FIND US icon in your ZipBy App. The FIND US Icon will, within an average of 1km radius, bring up any Facilities/ Areas/ Zones and Lots that have this enabled for their sites, making it easier to locate and pay for your parking. App shouldn’t require “always” location data
It is not required for the app to function. I pay my parking then turn off the location permissions that it requires. If your phone is off/dead they cannot locate you anyway.
