Great idea…

But doesn’t work half the time. When it works if correctly, it makes thing much easier to determine where the bus is so we aren’t standing outside waiting forever on the freezing rain or cold, especially when our driver isn’t going to be patient because she’s overworked with a doubled-up route and is usually late. This makes is VERY hard for working parents with early starting hours and a commute to keep things moving in the morning. This app needs some work.

My review

I use this app everyday as a student to make sure I don’t miss my bus well this morning I was going to get in it to make sure I didn’t miss the bus and it wasn’t working kept saying no students found or kept saying refreshing data but it wouldn’t then I put me to the login screen and so I tried logging in multiple times but it won’t work I am going to miss my bus because I don’t have it working this is a big problem I have a lot of problems with this please fix this.

App crashes, has yet to provide info in 3 months

If I could give zero stars, I would.

It’s November 29th. School started Sept 7th. I have yet to have this app tell me anything other than “Bus 407 is not active” and that routes are running according to schedule. Nevermind that neither of my kids are on a bus 407. I don’t know if this issue is the school district’s implementation, an issue at the bus company, or something from the technology provider - but it is a COLOSSAL WASTE OF MONEY.

Also, today the app crashes constantly and I can’t even get into it. It’s a snowy day here and it would be tremendously helpful if this tech worked. But Im setting my expectations accordingly that it won’t and I’ll just be waiting at the stop for my kid at an approximate time in this snow storm.

Disappointing

Would be less disappointed if I could even login. My kid’s school transportation dept has said their IT folks are working on trying to resolve login issues. Wish it was easier for them and makes me wonder if the app itself stinks along with the developer’s support. Other parents are saying the routes are totally inaccurate. But I wouldn’t know since I haven’t been able to login since school started three weeks ago. I’ll update this if ever gets fixed and works correctly.

What year was this app built for?

The app UI is for an old iPh 1 - scaling, text sizing, the keyboard, etc etc. The list of schools is all in a dark background with black text - almost impossible to read. Prob because it hasnt been updated for dark mode... Logging in doesnt work with PW managers and clears out both boxes when you swipe up to move the app aside, for example trying to read the email instructions and go back to the app. Aside from the terrible and outdated UI, it works. I think. I'll update if it doesnt. Hope the service is cheap for the districts!

Safety of kids is not a priority - would give it a zero

One of the worst apps I have ever used. It is often inaccurate or crashes and can’t connect with the server.
The app has gotten worse over time and has become completely unreliable.
Until it is updated and enhanced to prioritize kids’ safety, school districts shouldn’t buy it or use it.
As a single, working mom with four kids, I used to rely on it to give my accurate data about the kids rides to and from school.
My kids cheap watches with gps capabilities are more reliable.
Sometimes the bus does time travel where the location of the bus and anticipated arrival time
time don’t match where the bus is. My kids have missed the bus because it will give an arrival time that is later than scheduled and then it suddenly comes five minutes early.
I get that there are factors that influence arrival times but glitches in the app provide inaccurate data.
The UX is outdated and the company supplied directions for using the app with the random number used for login are the opposite of intuitive.
I guess though since schools keep buying it, then there are few incentives to update or overhaul the app and infrastructure behind it.
Given the fact that the app promises more than it can do, the safety of the kids is jeopardized.
I would think a company with a 1.8 rating would do everything possible to update the app. But then again, that would be common sense and show a commitment to safety over profits.

Login issues and no “forgot password” link?

Last years login isn’t working, maybe I forgot it. I’m unable to login. Not can’t I see how to remedy this issue because you have to login. It doesn’t recognize my email address nor my children’s student I’d…Help!!!! They just dropped my child off 20 minutes early, in a terrible lightening storm! We are more than 350 feet from the bus stop through the woods. Had I been able to remedy the forgotten password issue through the app via a link of some sort that would have been great.

Important updates?

It’s been about a year and I the app has NO WAY of tracking different schedules. I’m a divorced parent and have to track the drop off every other week but can only see route to ex wife’s house. I’ve talked to the IT of the transportation company in my area and the app has no plans on fixing this.
After taking to the school and transportation company they said this is a huge issue with no resolution in sight.
Come on! Can we fix this???

It’s a good app but…

Sometimes the app won’t work. My logins fine because I use it all the time but it works some days and after a while it’s down again. I checked updates and I’m up to date. But this app is pretty close to accurate I used it for myself and I could see where my bus came from and an estimate of when it will get to me. I love this app but like everything it has its flaws.

Useless

This app is terrible. It’s never accurate, never gives notifications if a bus is cancelled and is completely unreliable. I am surprised our school board recommends using it. So many times my child has been left waiting in freezing cold temperatures only to find the bus is cancelled (even though the bus shows it is active on the app) and I need to find an alternate way to get him to school.
