English speakers
Would be nice to get some support in English. It is oddly difficult to register a credit card, despite having an arc card, a local bank account, and a local phone.
Not for foreigners
This app is not foreigner friendly. And impossible to get a taxi without this app. Ridiculous. Need a korean phone number. Stupid.

Fair and objective review
Kakao app is a monopoly that has grown fat and inefficient to the extent is doesnโt care about itโs consumer and only cares about itโs share price and profit numbers. They collect so much personal information and share it with the Korean socialist government. This is not a good platform.
Kakao Taxi
Why is it that when I set a specific pick-up point and destination, Iโm penalized for the taxi driver not showing up the the right spot? Horrible app.

Only available for those with a Korean residency number/Korean bank account.
Chinese character in English version
App itself is very useful, but most of notice is in Korean , and some Chinese on notification tabโฆ not sure why the languages are all mixed up.

The new update doesnโt let me bypass registering a card....
Very frustrating experience
Donโt expect to call a taxi on rush hour with this. Taxi drivers are free to ignore request without limit unlike uber. Just put a temporary ban on drivers who ignore more three times or something, I donโt see why canโt they just implement such a simple thing.
