This is not a bot btw I love discord because I can talk to my friends and join and make servers with my friends or YouTubers or anyone really I can also join study groups and clubs so you can use it for your own personal use or your school work. I would Definitely recommend this app for young adults or teens because it might or can be an unsafe platform for young kids but I have not seen anything unsafe or something like that. If you do let a young kid on here please make sure to supervise them and protect them from anything that can come up because just remember it’s an online app! So in my opinion I would recommend discord to 12+ people and I know it says that it is a 17+ app but my 12 and 15 kids have it and they seem to love it and like I said before I have not seen anything bad or unsafe I just putting it out there that it might and can occur. you should read this
okay so i don’t usually do reviews as most games are rubbish and aren’t worth my time, but this app, is amazing! yes it’s 17+ but it’s suitable for younger ages from 12 in my opinion Common Sense Media also recommends that Discord users be at least 13 due to its open chat. Because it's all user-generated, there's the potential for plenty of inappropriate content, like swearing and graphic language and images (though it's entirely possible to belong to a group that forbids these). now anyone can add you, but just close the dm, it’s good for trading apps, values, groups, codes and lost more! i recommend it for people who would love calling and texting there friends With its inclusive nature, Discord allows users to connect with others, find creative communities, network, and create a sense of community through feedback requests and support channels.

I’ve been swatted 3 times now from this app
It’s a good app but if you join the wrong discord servers like I remember I joined one with Roblox there was a guy threatening to murder people by swatting them and the admins on that server were the people swatting others I would always use a VPN when using this app people all the time of different discord servers threaten to pull my IP address a good 28 times maybe I’ve used this app for years and I’ve had to report people swatting to the police cause getting swatted on the platform does happen to people there is tons of porn on discord so if you don’t like porn don’t download this app and there are servers were they allow minors to join the porn which hopefully those people are in safe now I don’t like it either but that’s been a problem for years now discord is my favorite app used for gaming groups I wouldn’t join discord servers that are illegal if you click a few tabs then leave the server you will still get banned discord tracks everything you click on I’ve heard this from many people if there’s a way I can report murder or swatting on the platform cause when I report they still continue swatting people I’ll give you five stars if there’s a good way to report this by calling discord to report this to the police use a VPN on big big discord servers wild things can happen

My general thoughts
It’s a good overall app, I use it for gaming, entertainment, work, etc. but like another review said, it has a sharp learning curve which is hard to learn for some. Also, there are a lot of scamming bots on the app that pretend to be women that I find on apps like Gamerlink, Psn, Twitch, that say to add their account on Discord. It’s a massive problem for those who battle addiction to porn or people who are gullible (I am not one of them). I think that there might need to be an optional tutorial that pops up when you first get the app that shows you where things are and warns you about bots and such. I enjoy the app because I have learned it, creating servers and adding bots is a very surreal experience because it’s like you make your own little town of people. Many still fall for the chatbots and the incapability of learning the app. Some of my close friends tried the app and hated it for the reasons I’ve just mentioned. My friends and I agree that the chatbots are more of a nuisance to people trying to experience the immersive capabilities of the app/ community bots. I understand the Nitro/ Subscription, but I feel like there should be the ability to purchase something’s separate, having more tiers of subscription for different usage niches. Overall, this app is very good for hanging out but has some problems that can affect the experience in a major/threatening way.

Pretty decent, but needs some work.
As a platform for communicating between friends and fan groups, Discord is pretty decent, but it could be improved in ways that make it easier and better for people working together on a project and using Discord for it. When discussing a direction for a project, and talking about that project, it’s easy for the main points of the conversation to be lost forever, there needs to be a better method than the currently exisiting ones within discord. Maybe even a method to display spread sheet like data as well (while remaining easily editable in app).
My understanding of developing Discord bots is not mature yet, but I currently think Discord bots could be expanded upon in how they could be interacted with, giving more favourable and easier inputs to the bots that might not fill the chat, and allow others to use it at the same time (Possibly just making an easy custom interaction spaced out button input scheme, such as arrows all points out from a centred button, underneath the bots message. I know this is possible, but I mean making it something anyone can just simply do without much coding.).

Outstanding and outclass App
I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 USD within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of So I filed a report on darissealbertraymond (at) Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam to reach out to darissealbertraymond (at) gmail

This reason for this 1star is because i’m very dissatisfied. My friend provided the things she needed for her account to be appealed. And she was falsely accused of fraud. Even the people that reported apologized and stated that it was the wrong person. So i don’t understand why y'all don’t have the ability to make her have her account back and she’s very sad. Most people made friends and memories in this app and even I did, and i’m sad to see that she can’t go back in the messages to see that. And it’s disappointing to know that you’ll couldn’t even help other appeal their accounts when falsely accused of something. And it’s disappointing to see my friend crying and still crying now. It hurts to see that. And knowing i cant do much but what i know is that i can make a comment and share what just happened. Maybe you could try and actually help the discord community with situations like this because it seems like you guys lack helping people who actually want their accounts back more than people reporting an account that has been falsely accused of fraud. Even with evidence of it being true that that account wasn’t the one that caused it. I’m just very disappointed and sad to see my loved ones not being able to see and look in the past memories. I hope this comment helps you do better in the future. Because you might end up being the reason why some people get depression. I hope you have a nice day.

Sign in difficulties
For some reason, on discord I have been signed out on all of my devices on discord abruptly without me doing anything. This has happened twice on two devices, of which I was able to sign in again, but it happened again, signing me out on my tablet, phone and laptop, I cannot sign in because I have to reset my password, even though trying to reset my password doesn’t work, with me putting in a new password, it says “Incorrect token.” I googled this and apparently the link was incorrect or expired, I know it’s not expired because it was send ten seconds ago, and I know it’s not incorrect because it was sent to the email I used for my account. It has shown no signs of me getting back in, losing contact with good friends of mine, possibly for a long time. Please fix this.

Was my number 1 messaging app on mobile
Discord has been an app I used for a long time, it was an incredible app that was easy on the eyes and even easier to use. Then they changed the ui and gave NO way to switch back. I have seen people’s comments on this new ui talking about how buggy it was but that wasn’t my main issue. The issue I had was all my muscle memory is no longer applicable thanks to the changes. Luckily a YouTuber posted a way to revert to the old ui using console. HOORAY… a month later they patched it and within 30 seconds (not an exaggeration) of opening the app all the buttons froze and I had to restart discord. Some people with medical issues also have been negatively affected. While I haven’t used the new layout a lot, I speak for a lot of people when I say it’s garbage The only reason that I don’t give one star is because the pc app didn’t get a new ui. Worst app update I’ve ever seen in my entire life and I will be downgrading discord to before the ui update despite any security issues that don’t get patched with the old versions.
