Great for Live Chat Box
I have 3cx live chat box installed on my website (which was very easy to do). This app lets me receive customer notifications so I can attend to questions from visitors to my website in real time.Natalieee1
Doesn’t always ring through
One minute it will ring with the office phone and the next minute it doesn’t - my phone hasn’t moved. It would be nice to have the option to know when coworkers go to “away” status.
Also doesn’t ring through to my Apple Watch..Miltnmedic
Takes over phone
What’s with this app taking over my phone entirely? There’s no way to silence calls outside of disabling the line within the app. If the ringtone in the app is on silent it still rings. If the phone is on do not disturb it still rings. The app completely overrides user device settings which is extremely sketchy. How has this now been addressed in the 2 years I’ve been forced to use the application?Show lessJon8976
App Issues
I like the 3CX app but lately I’ve been having connection issues and a lot of cutting in and out of calls. Also, for some reason I get some texts but not all which is making communication more difficult and creating more frustrations from the customer end.

Works fine, but
it would be great if there was a feature where I can silence/pause the app while I’m at my desk so that I don’t get a call on both my cell and the desk. My only solution is to delete the app from my phone. Otherwise, the app works fine for me.AJKitten
Phone doesn’t ring for incoming calls
This app used to work great, but it no longer rings my phone when there’s an incoming call. This is one of the primary purposes of having this app. I have a desk phone and it rings just fine, but I’m not always at my desk. I even tried unplugging my desk phone to see if that would force calls to the mobile app, and it rang on my computer, but not the mobile app.Show lessagertino
Terrible
You can’t turn it off when you’re not using it…CRAZY…because they didn’t make it with a shut off switch because it’s connected to your phone…stupid…so even when you are not working ..and not in your office…calls are still coming in…if you silence it…you silence everyone else in your private life too…So you have all these calls coming through practically 24/7…

There's often a delay when answering the often and connecting to the call! I have had many hang ups because either party thought the other wasn't there. In one call, I couldn't even talk to the customer because of the phone call announcing who the caller is and then spouting out the phone number.
Sometimes the call is spotty, even though my phone signal has a full bar, the app will show 1-2 bars for the call signal. Make that make sense!Show lessnikki mae
Can’t turn off notifications!!!
Thought it was great that if I was not close to the office landline and doing other things in the office I could easily answer through my phone. HOWEVER you can’t turn off the notifications!! Even if you try and turn them off through your phone settings and the app and try and put on do not disturb the notifications keep coming through. Driving be bananas enough that I’m deleting the app. This NEEDS to be fixed.
Also sometimes the calls just don’t answer and this is very bad for a clinical setting where you’re answering for medical issues with patients. Very unprofessional.Show lessnicolegiorgi94
Excellent unified communication client
The 3CX app allows our company to work from anywhere with chat, SMS, and calling. It works perfectly as an alternative to our desk phones as long as we have a good wifi or cellular Internet connection. It is ven works where other apps we tested either worked poorly or not at all. 3CX has been regularly updating the app to add features, take advantage of new options available in iOS updates, as well as to fix bugs that made it into production or were introduced with iOS updates.Show lessCallinectes
