  • I love this app but it’s unpredictable

I really really love this app, but as usual everything is going great....until it’s not. Now all of the sudden the app is glitching. Shows I’ve watched are showing up brand new with no episodes available to mark as watched and some show no episodes listed available at all. For the last two days it’s been happening at random but almost all of the shows I’ve been watching have been marked as new and all progress lost for shows I’m not caught up on. I’ll change my review when the app starts working again. Usually when this happens I lose everything. And it happens way more often than I’d like. I only stick with this program because it’s way more effective than some others....When it actually happens to work. Thanks.

  • The Best UI Around

iShows TV is, hands-down, the best UI you’ll find in a TV tracking app. It looks elegant and functions along the same lines. The experience is made quite enjoyable by virtue of the presentation. Checking in, marking episodes as watched, and rating them is fun. I’m especially fond of knowing how many days there are until a new episode airs. iShows TV delivers on this front.

Save yourself the time of trolling the App Store for a similar app with similar features. iShows TV is fallible, but still the best app you’re going to find for your TV tracking desires.

  • Its going downhill day by day

I loved using this app but from a past few months, it seems it is just going down hill and feels the developers has stopped maintaining this app.

There were constant crashes previously. And what annoys me the most is that the search for new shows doesn’t work 99% of the time. I have tried reinstalling the app but it doesn’t seems to fix it. Disappointing ...

  • Sick of this now

I’ve been using this app for a long time and always loved it. Then it crashed, I was gutted and couldn’t find anything as good. I was so happy when it was fixed and back, but I’m literally sick of every time I go into it, it has unticked almost all my recent watches. One show I deleted (several times now) still keeps popping up saying 8 episodes behind. Done with it now I will persevere to find an alternative.

  • Typically A Great App

This app is usually pretty good. Typically there’s little small bigs with the gestures only (for me). For example when you can swipe to mark an episode as “watched” it will sometimes mark a completely different show somehow.

But now there’s a new issue that is moderately annoying. The app keeps unmarking episodes on its own now for some reason. It started with just a few episodes. Then it happened to an entire season of episodes. Note this morning there were 80+ episodes (that I had marked off long ago) sitting there as if I never watched/marked them.

  • Excellent App.

This is by far my favourite TV show tracking app. I've tried them all, and this is the nicest to use by far.

I hope the developer keeps this app alive for a long time to come.
  • Problem fixed, but I don’t trust it

Finally after over a month the problem of missing data is fixed, even though the description of the changes doesn’t mention this.

Thinking that all my data was gone forever, I investigated various alternatives and had started using TVST.

I shall continue using TVST, as even though iShows is now working again, I no longer trust it.

  • Paid Version -Could be better

Update: The app just deleted all of my data..... I still can’t use this app two months later.

I downloaded the free app at first, and to my dismay, I could only add four shows. Pointless.

So I paid for the full app. It’s okay in my opinion. Every show I wanted to find I could (even a European series). It has all of the media from each episode and looks nice. It’s fully customizable and the notifications never fail. However, why did I have to just click through hundreds of episodes of Grey’s Anatomy just to mark them all as watched? Why can’t I at least click watched all from an individual series? If you fix that, this app will deserve 5 stars.

  • Not as great

This app was good and mostly reliable until lately. It's always crashing now. When I mark episodes as "watched", they return as "unwatched", at least 3 times before finally accepting I watched it. Finding not all American shows show up, but usually a few of those on TLC, Lifetime, Freeform or such. Have never been able to sync between my iPhone and my iPad, so I deleted it from my iPhone. If it keeps causing me problems, it will get deleted on my IPad as well. Hope all the issues get fixed soon. As of December 2019, it has gotten worse. Shows now have double listings. Shows I’ve watched are now listed as new, with no episodes seen. I go to list a show as viewed, then suddenly a whole new list appears. I don’t think they’re able to keep up with iOS updates.

  • Not working after update

I did what they suggested. The update did not fix the issue with not showing any episodes. So I deleted the app and reinstalled.

Now the problem is it won’t let me restore my premium purchase or load my back up data and all my show info is gone as I can’t remember which email I used to connect to trakt and now I can’t sign out. I hit restore previois purchase and nothing happens

Deleting the app and reinstalling also does not work and my old iPhone has also now been linked to my wrong email without my even touching the phone until I thought to use it to check which email I used YEARS ago to log in and never had to use again.

Every time I try and load my back up the app crashes. I have lost all my tv shows I was tracking and the episodes I was up to, so the app is pretty much useless.
