Worst app I have ever used. You would think it was 1990 with how bad it runs. You constantly have to exit the app and restart it to show a picture. It skips and does not record the things you need it to record. Honestly this shouldn’t be allowed. Horrible, horrible, horrible. DO NOT USE!Christinehac
Garbage. Pathetic. Rip-Off
Just had an 8 camera, 4K video system professionally installed. Sometimes the app will load the camera images, sometimes it won’t. Also it’s about the least intuitive app I’ve ever seen. The problem is not my internet speed, 800MBS, it was tested by the installers and they confirmed its excellent. I will likely have this system removed and exchange the equipment for something that works.Show lessrdt10115
Disaster.
Have a building in bad neighborhood. My alarms have gone off 3 times. 2 of the 3, the LUMA “security” system won’t let me play back camera footage for the time of the alarm, but all the time around it.....in other words, when I really need to see what happened on my cameras....I....cant.
Will spend any amount of money to have this system ripped out and replaced going forward.Show lessBrittainKoball
Works good after setting up
Took me a while to figure out all functions. I was frustrated and considered going a differnt direction but stayed the course. I am good with it. I use connected directly to my IP address both at home and away. The Ovrc sign in method was a bit quirky. Overall it's a good and reliable app.Smith5152
Terrible app
Having Nest and Ring in my other home, I expected similar levels of control and ease of use. This app is terrible (horrible UI) and doesn't have the basics that the others do (like alerts on motion). Can't even explain how bad this app is.Vic Gundotra

Luma camera
Do not spend your money on Luma, find a more reliable camera system with better quality and better app! Through the app I can never see live footage error codes always popping up. Do your research and don’t spend your money on LUMAJackie0659
Absolute garbage
UPDATE: Despite the horrible reviews, LUMA has made no effort to improve their awful software / app, likely because they have dinosaur AV installers still pushing this dumpster fire.
I cannot stress enough to stay away. The CEO of SnapAV, the parent company, should be fired. Nest and ADT are going to eat their lunch.
This software is absolute garbage. I have no words to describe how terrible it is compared to Nest / Ring / ADT.

Just terrible
Probably the worst design app I’ve ever used, that’s when it even works.
Rarely can get it to sink with the brain at our house.
Maybe works 20% of the time.
Can’t believe I spent $10,000 on their surveillance equipment and this is how horrible their app is. Also you cannot use their equipment on a Apple Computer either.Show lessHuntvision
