This app was bugging me. I called customer support and it’s been fixed amd so far, I am enjoying using the app with ease, so I have edited my review.
The whole app needs to be redesigned. Not user friendly at all
Poor experience attempting to use this app. I have 3 other banking apps and this is by far the worst. The process of registering is tedious and time consuming. Error messages despite I outing the correct information in the correct format.

App Stopped Working on Company Network
I recently updated just before coming to work only to find out it wouldn’t open and always giving me an error:
We could not connect. Please check that your Mobile Data/WiFi is active or update to the latest version from store (GC04).
Been using this app for years and never had this issue until recently. I am struggling to send money home because of this issue!!!

App doesn’t work and can’t get anything done . Poorly designed

I am deeply disappointed with this app. It is extremely poor in design and far from user-friendly. Since the takeover, ABSA's service has been nothing short of a letdown.
The app constantly crashes, which is incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, there is still no update that includes a live chat feature for overseas customers to easily connect with support. This lack of consideration only adds to the frustration.
I have been trying to open another account while overseas, but the app crashes repeatedly, making it impossible to complete the process. If ABSA truly values its customers and stakeholders, it’s time to prioritise revamping this outdated and inefficient app.

Has a potential to be a good App but validations don’t work correctly. The form requires you to fill in a Beneficiary name without allowing you to do it. Pretty basic stuff. Fix it please.

The app does not allow me to register my account even after correctly entering my information, I get a “customer not recognized” message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is by far the worst banking app. Absa, please sit up and be serious; this is ridiculous. My frustration is too long to even narrate. I pay for premium banking and get mediocre service from this useless app
Poor app and very poor customer care
Had issues with this app and I called and email Absa customer care . It take ages for them to read and respond to their customers email and when they respond and tell you they will call back again they never do.

Crashes
When you want make a transaction and scroll down to Bank transfers, the application prevents you to scroll down. This problem has been there for sometime but not fixed. This problem renders the application useless for bank transfers.
