Don’t Take Aditya Birla it’s a complete fraud

⭐ 1 Star – Not Recommended

I strongly do not recommend Aditya Birla Health Insurance based on my experience.

I was hospitalized with severe dengue, suffering from extreme weakness, and my treating doctor advised admission. I submitted all the required medical reports, hospital records, and even a detailed justification letter from my doctor explaining why hospitalization was medically necessary.

Despite providing all this evidence, my claim was rejected. The reason given was essentially that there was “no need for hospital admission”, even though this decision directly contradicted the assessment of the treating doctor and the hospital.

It is extremely frustrating and disappointing to pay insurance premiums expecting support during a genuine medical emergency, only to have a legitimate claim denied. This experience has made me lose trust in this insurer.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Aditya Birla Health Insurance. I hope the company improves its claim assessment process and gives proper consideration to the medical opinions of treating doctors instead of rejecting genuine claims.

Worst Health Insurance Experience – False Promises and Extremely Poor Service

I had a very disappointing experience with Aditya Birla Health Insurance. The company made several promises at the time of purchase, but when I actually needed support, none of those promises were fulfilled. My medical reports were not provided on time, which caused an unnecessary delay in my treatment. This kind of negligence is unacceptable when someone’s health is involved.

The customer service is poor, and the overall experience is simply not worth the money. The sales agents are especially disappointing—they lack proper knowledge about the policies and processes, often providing incorrect or incomplete information. Instead of helping customers, they create more confusion.

I expected a reliable health insurance provider, but unfortunately, this company failed to deliver even basic service standards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Aditya Birla Health Insurance to anyone looking for dependable health coverage.

Don’t buy insurance from Aditya birla

Aditya Birla is nothing but a scam to collect your premiums. They are the masters of rejection. When you are actually admitted to a hospital from their network hospital list their cashless facility fails and their app becomes completely useless. After years of paying premiums on time they will hide behind all senseless & absurd loopholes like calling a serious hospitalization a normal fever or can be treated as outpatient etc etc. They simply do not care about their customer’s health or financial emergencies. Save your hard earned money and look for an insurer that actually honors their promises.

Activity Tracking Should Account for Terrain and Elevation

The current 10,000-step target does not appear to account for users living in hilly or mountainous regions. A person walking 6,000–7,000 steps daily on steep terrain and climbing multiple flights of stairs may expend significantly more effort than someone walking 10,000 steps on flat ground. Since devices such as Garmin track elevation gain and floors climbed, I request that active health consider a more inclusive activity calculation that reflects actual physical exertion rather than step count alone.
