Don’t buy insurance from Aditya birla

Aditya Birla is nothing but a scam to collect your premiums. They are the masters of rejection. When you are actually admitted to a hospital from their network hospital list their cashless facility fails and their app becomes completely useless. After years of paying premiums on time they will hide behind all senseless & absurd loopholes like calling a serious hospitalization a normal fever or can be treated as outpatient etc etc. They simply do not care about their customer’s health or financial emergencies. Save your hard earned money and look for an insurer that actually honors their promises.

Activity Tracking Should Account for Terrain and Elevation

The current 10,000-step target does not appear to account for users living in hilly or mountainous regions. A person walking 6,000–7,000 steps daily on steep terrain and climbing multiple flights of stairs may expend significantly more effort than someone walking 10,000 steps on flat ground. Since devices such as Garmin track elevation gain and floors climbed, I request that active health consider a more inclusive activity calculation that reflects actual physical exertion rather than step count alone.

Too many issues

Chat option in not working

Wrong tracking

Though Noise fit watch that has been provided by Aditya Birla for tracking my health says I have been active daily with more than 13K steps on an average with 400 cal burnt and being active more or less through the day , active health says I am inactive and sit most of the day and only on days I click the strength training the app says I am active . Walking or being active doesn’t count that’s strange . It needs some rectification or else we loose the benifit we availed for

Claim Rejected Despite Doctor-Recommended Hospitalization

This review is based on a real medical emergency and my first-ever claim experience after maintaining the policy continuously for years.
When my mother was hospitalized in severe pain, with doctors clearly stating that admission was medically necessary, Aditya Birla Health Insurance rejected the cashless request claiming the treatment “could have been done on OPD basis.” This decision was made despite detailed medical records, investigation reports, and a written justification from the treating doctor.
What was most disturbing was how the insurer appeared to override and question the doctor’s judgment without ever examining the patient or coordinating meaningfully with the hospital. Repeated calls, document submissions, and follow-ups led nowhere. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no real medical review ,just rigid rejection.
Because of this denial, we were pushed into extreme financial and emotional distress and even had to reconsider ongoing treatment. Health insurance is meant to protect families during crises, not add another layer of trauma.
This experience has shown me that while policy features look attractive during purchase, the real test is during claims and this insurer failed that test completely.
I would strongly urge anyone considering this app to look beyond marketing and understand the real world claim experience before trusting it with their family’s health.

Good

Good and excellent

Brilliant app for tracking health.

Active Health is a well-designed app that genuinely encourages healthier lifestyle choices. It offers a good mix of activity tracking, wellness challenges, and health insights that help make fitness feel achievable rather than overwhelming. The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate, even for beginners.

The reminders and goal-based approach are motivating and help build consistency over time. I especially like how the app focuses not just on steps or workouts, but also on overall well-being.

Overall, it’s a solid app for anyone looking to stay active and be more mindful about their health on a daily basis. 👍

Complete health suite

Active Health gives you whole lot of features to keep a track of your health and help further improve it as well. It has personal health couches, gyms, consultant available whenever you need it. It’s truly one platform for better health.

Poor app

Aditya Birla ‘s service is very slow and the app as well.wake up guys wake up.

Review of app and cashless claim process

It’s very annoying and not helpful the digital journeys they keep talking highly broken even after repeatedly complaining nothing is done and claim settlement process pathetic
With no communication and notifications and call center just telling it may be technical issue . If u want to automated call center and app support process ensure it’s done correctly and people can reach some escalation team non of the numbers of the app work
Latest claim in process is not visible on app

Not a trustable Insurer

Don’t trust your health with them.

Face scan unable to do

The app unable to connect my face scan

Claim status is not showing

We have sent our all our original documents for our reimbursement claim it's been more than 2 months no response regarding that in this app

Does not update the health metrics correctly

The app does not update the Apple health data correctly which leads to false data update in the app. This impacts calculating active days.

Fraud Company every time cashless rejected and reimbursement is like achieving mountai.

They will visit hospital and take all details and will assure that claim will be disbursed and at the last stage it will reject and they will not share any reason of rejection and will suggest for reimbursement and you need to wait 6-7 months for taking update what happens about reimbursement. If you want to hospitalised whole family with hypertension then obviously buy adityabirla health insurance it will help your family to be hypertension patient very quickly.

Simply wait for last date then Reject the claims Patient’s Condition Not Properly Considered

I am very unhappy with the service from Aditya Birla Health Insurance. My father was admitted to the hospital with severe diarrhoea, fever, ,extreme weakness and Dehydrated. On the day of admission, he was unable to walk, and the treating doctor mentioned that if we had delayed further, he might have required ICU admission.
Despite submitting all medical reports and documents, the insurance team concluded that the condition could be “managed from home.” It seems the reviewing doctors did not consider the actual patient condition or the treating doctor’s notes, only the lab values. This kind of assessment feels careless and unprofessional.
I sincerely request the company to review their claim process and ensure genuine medical cases are treated with fairness and empathy.

Worst policy I have ever seen

Their customer support is absolutely terrible. They never respond when you actually need help, and there’s no sign of any no-claim bonus they promise. The only time they bother calling you is when your policy is about to expire and they want more money out of you. It’s a complete waste of time and energy dealing with this company. They only care about taking payments, not about their customers. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Aditya Birla Health Insurance Review

I am extremely disappointed with Aditya Birla Health Insurance. Ever since I purchased their health insurance policy, I have faced continuous issues. Their customer support service is unresponsive — calls go unanswered, and emails to their official ID receive no reply. Even the representative, Santosh, has failed to respond. This entire experience has been very frustrating and unprofessional. Overall, a very disappointing and careless health insurance company.
