This app sucks

It took forever to download and use this app to pay for parking. The app crashed several times. Wouldn’t load the parking garage after it crashed so had to hard restart the app multiple times to get the right garage to show up. In the amount of time it took me standing around a disgusting down town urban parking garage I could have been mugged and assaulted. Like truly it’s terrifying simply trying to pay for parking these days. I’m never parking in a lot using this app again. I hope you go out of business.

Intentionally Deceptive

The pay-by-the-minute system feels intentionally deceptive. Most parking apps work like a traditional parking meter: you pay for the amount of time you need, and if you stay longer, you extend your session. This app does the opposite—it starts a timer that continues charging until you remember to manually end it.

If you’re only parking for five minutes, it’s easy to walk away and forget to reopen the app. Before you know it, you’ve been charged for hours because the timer kept running, often without a timely reminder. This design punishes forgetfulness instead of helping users avoid unnecessary charges.

A parking app should make paying for parking easier, not rely on users making an easy mistake that costs them money. This billing model feels unethical and shouldn’t be allowed.

App doesn’t work

App doesn’t open, I have to redownload it to open it.

System is terrible

I received a ticket and I want to dispute it. The app has useless help on how to do it but none of it works. It’s just a circle of help links.
Calling Stamford Center to complain.
That 4.8 rating has to be false and inflated. No one I know who uses this in Stamford CT has anything good to say about it.

Robbed constantly

This app sucks … they constantly charge me full day parking at our local mall if I forget to end my session … as a senior citizen it’s very difficult to remember to end the session it’s hard enough to remember to start the session …. I would rather a choice of time needed and if I want I can extend … it’s almost like a trick they use to ding you the most amount of money they can … really annoying … don’t forget to end your session every single time you park and use air garage …

Buggy App Creating overcharges.

The very first time I used the app it charges me for 18 hours instead of 1. The buggy app recorded that I started parking at midnight in stead of the afternoon.

Not customer friendly

No phone support for incorrect charge and submission of online support form blocked by Cloudflare!

I would not use this service but am forced because this is the only payment option for the parking lot

Buggy app. Doesn’t open usually

The app used to work fine but in the last month now hangs on the orange loading screen.

Very little seems to fix it. Reloading it is hit and miss, turning on/off cellular seems to help but who knows?

Good luck if you’re in a hurry and trying to park. Please fix this

Bad app, bad business

If you don’t start immediately after parking, and they catch you, they charge for a full day, and you can’t do anything about it.
They don’t have a timer to automatically stop the parking. (They send a notification which is why this isn’t one star, but if you miss it there’s no automatic stop for the parking. No signal that you’ve left, nothing)
The app is built to favor the company charging you more.
We go to a karate club that only lasts 45 minutes, but their timer is in 30 minute increments.
The app is just as bad. There are no ways to remove license plates once you’ve added them, and try as I might, I can’t seem to add another debit card. Apple Pay doesn’t work on here at all.
The app is just bad. It’s a bad app. Do not download. This review is from 2026-04-02, for anyone wondering.

Thieves

I paid for parking using a different service, so AirGarage decided to charge me anyway “to keep me from being towed”. Charged me twice what I payed when my car was already at home. Never use!!

Terrible

Terrible app. Why do I have to create an account when I'm just visiting the town? Why even have an app at all? Some places do it with a QR code and Apple Pay link.

Not only did I need to create an account, but also fill in a bunch of private info, and it wouldn't work with Apple Pay so I needed to put my card info in manually.

It's so inconvenient that I will be actively avoiding spots that use this garbage.

Deceptive business practices

I received a parking violation even though I paid for the parking. Their website is either very poorly designed, or they intentionally make it very difficult to figure out how to dispute the ticket, and of course there is no one to talk to, it is all through digital communication. The website tells you to go to screens that don’t exist, and when you do try to go to the bottom of the page where the contact info usually is, the website hesitates for a while before showing you the links. I feel badly for older folks who do not know to even look for this, and try to follow the directions they give you in the FAQs because what they tell you to do literally does not exist or work. Once you do submit the problem ticket they send an email to ask for all of the same information that you already submitted and is clearly in their system already before they could issue you a violation.

It really feels like this company is very sketchy and doing everything it can to get your money and make it very difficult for you to resolve an issue while trying to appear legitimate. If that is not the case the only other option is that they are incredibly bad at website design and customer service.

Unethical business practice

I question why the company uses its license plate readers to automatically START your parking fee. But, they opt to not END your parking when you leave the facility. Users should be allowed to opt into both, if that step is even necessary. Why would you choose to continue paying when you have already left?

Ending trouble

Overall, I had a good time using it, but when it came time to end my parking time, it wasn’t showing me a way to end so I had to wait until the timer just ran out

What a mess

I work at a facility that uses air garage for their parking and customers and so confused constantly getting mad at me and my staff because of this stupid set up. A parking garage should never be a phone only situation, what are people who forget their phones or have a flip phone supposed to do. Stupid system with a ton of flaws.

Unreliable and Terrible

App and website not working. Pretty terrible experience - used in San Mateo. Caused an inconvenience as I had to go somewhere else to park. I don’t trust this app and this company

OVERCHARGED!!!

Auto-renews and overcharges for parking total scam!!!

Outrageous fees

Paid for parking and during our active session given a ticket saying we didn’t pay but we hadn’t ended yet. $78 parking ticket for $7 parking. But don’t worry, you have to go to their website to submit any disputes even if you have the app.
If you forget to end a session they automatically charge you for the daily max and tack on a convenience fee of $15.49
Mine was in a lower demand area so the daily max is $15 for that lot. Fees are crazy high and they seem to do anything to charge you to get more money.

Scam.

I paid for my friend to park at my hotel for 4 hours total.
The QR code paper and website told me I had to adjust the time I’d be parking there. I was never given an option to do so.
Figured with as much technology as this company uses, they’d be able to figure out how long the car was parked and take it out of the $25 fee.
Nope. They took the whole $25.

I read all of the websites info and their parking sheet at the hotel, NOTHING says that it was a flat rate of $25. If it did, I would not have a problem. It said $25 OVERNIGHT. My friend and I only had her car parked there for 4 hours max. She was never there overnight.

When I requested a full refund, they told me no.
When I kindly laid out that I read through their terms thoroughly to make sure I was doing everything right and that there’s literally no reason for me to get charged $25 when my friend wasn’t even parked over night, I asked for a partial refund since this was my first time parking with them. They still told me no and insulted me in the process.

Will never use this scam of a company again.
As someone who reads through things many times to make sure I get things right, maybe yall should update y’all’s website to reflect what you tell people in email. And make sure you tell the hotel too.

Cars get towed regardless of paying

I work FOR air garage scanning plates. The owner of the lot (which air garage contracts with) decided to tow cars even though they had paid and were legally parked. All because “they didn’t want them there.” The only response I could get from air garage when I was personally confronted by multiple angry people was “The church owns the lot and it’s their choice.” Turns out your payment doesn’t actually guarantee that you won’t get towed.
