Just been using it the ring or around 3 weeks. Cannot get the full potential of the device yet. But misplaced my ring and had trouble finding it.

Lightweight and Comfortable
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the AIVELA Smart Ring. It’s so lightweight that I barely notice I’m wearing it, especially compared to a smartwatch. I don’t like sleeping with a watch because it feels bulky on my wrist, but the ring is much less intrusive and much more comfortable to wear overnight. If you want sleep tracking without the discomfort of wearing a watch, this is a great alternative.

Needs a lot more love to be reliable
Sadly, whether it’s the app, the Aivela ring, or connectivity issues between the two, the UX is very compromised.
The app frequently requires that you sign in multiple times a day. Often the app fails to update with new data from the ring. Behavior on this is completely random, losing both sleep and activity data regularly.
As to the touch and gesture functionality (the main appeal of the Aivela ring), it’s great when it works. It mostly doesn’t. Either it doesn’t work at all or delays response for random and prolonged periods of time (several minutes or more). This results in sudden, unexpected behavior — and in the case of volume deafening boosts. Frankly, it barely works. The rare occasions when it does work as advertised are more like a disappointing tease.
I desperately want this to work. For now I will continue to put it through its paces, in the hopes that these issues are known and being addressed. But I’ll also be using my Ringconn and Garmin, because the Aivela ecosystem just isn’t reliable yet.

A Promising Ring with Useful Daily Insights
I’ve been using the AIVELA ring and app regularly, and overall I’ve had a positive experience.
The app is clean, easy to navigate, and presents health data in a way that is simple to understand. I particularly like the sleep tracking, recovery metrics, body load monitoring, and trend analysis. The dashboard provides a good balance of detail without feeling overwhelming.
The ring is comfortable to wear, battery life has been solid, and the data appears consistent with my daily habits and routines.
One thing I appreciate is being able to quickly check sleep quality, resting heart rate, HRV, activity, and recovery in one place without needing to dig through multiple screens.
There is always room for improvement as the platform evolves, but so far the app has been useful, stable, and easy to incorporate into my daily routine.
Overall, I am satisfied with the product and look forward to future updates.

Reliable
After the latest app update it looks much better

Purchased during Kickstarter campaign, I’ve had two weeks since shipped and now all of a sudden it’s not tracking my sleep but tracking everything else. I followed all instructions and no updates available for the app. So there must be a bug of some sort.

Firmware and app weak.
The challenge of a kickstarter product is that the campaign backers are in essence the beta testers. The ring is comfortable. It tracks sleep well. Motion poorly. Undercounts by 3000 steps daily. So either the firmware or accelerometer are in need of a fix. The app doesn’t allow editing or correcting inaccurate data. It’s too early to know what will be fixed. But so far. 2/5 stars.

Syncing Issues
The ring app captures a lot of information, but it’s glitching with the iPhone health app and doesn’t share all data even though you select to allow all data. I’ve persevered for a few months now to try and see all data in one app. Enough time to look at other options
Excellent Ring zero monthly fees!
I purchased the AIVELA smart ring to compare it against another smart ring I own that requires a monthly subscription. I really wanted to like this ring and had high hopes, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
Early on, I ran into a few technical issues, but their customer support team was incredibly responsive. They clearly explained exactly what to do, and everything works perfectly now.
The accompanying app and program are very easy to understand and come with some great tracking features. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to subscription based smart rings, I highly recommend this one. Great product, and even better customer service! I am extremely satisfied.

Very new app growing pains
This app is the iPhone dashboard for the Aivela smart ring that was produced via Kickstarter. Final units of the hardware from the pledge campaign are still shipping to give some idea of how new this app is.
The app is attractively designed and displays a huge amount of information. It relies heavily on acronyms for various metrics and these aren’t clearly explained. The app has some tutorial videos on how to use basic features as well as a couple of AI agents. However, most of this information is quite superficial. Often a metric is flagged “Need Attention” but there’s no means of following up on it. Navigation is rather obtuse as it combines app config with ring hardware config elements.
However, Aivela appears very committed to product improvement. New versions of the ring firmware and iPhone app have been released already with major improvements in the data syncing. (In spite of trumpeting integration to Apple Health, all of your data goes to the Aivela cloud for processing and storage.) This is a product with great potential, but lots of rough edges. Hopefully, I can update this to 4 or even 5 stars this summer.

One Ring to Rule them All
With kickstarter products there’s always that concern the product will not live up to the hype. This is not one of those times. Early versions of the app were ok. The latest version makes this a superior product. I’ve had two O*** rings. They worked but with AIVELA you get a great product and more intuitive app. I highly recommend this product.

Does work
I’ve been waiting for over 6 months with he kick starter and was so excited but the ring won’t pair with the app so it’s useless. Their customer service is terrible, so disappointing

Very disappointing experience with AIVELA Ring Pro
The sleep tracking has been unreliable for me. One night it showed about 2 hours less sleep than my Apple Watch, and another night I woke up and went to the bathroom, but the ring did not detect that I was awake at all.
Customer service was also frustrating. First they said I could return it but would need to pay around $60–70 for international shipping, even though I paid only $99 for the ring. Then they said a refund was not available at all and only suggested waiting for a future firmware update or buying another ring.
Overall, the product does not feel accurate enough to be useful, and the return/refund process is unreasonable. I would not recommend it.

It’s ok
Got the ring and have connected and using it. It’s hard to tell anything from a health standpoint. The app’s interface is so jammed in, so small that you can’t make heads or tails of it… I hope they update it to provide details that tell a cohesive health story
Step count not accurate!
The AIVELA ring on the whole is a good product, especially as a newly launched product. However, one of the key features, step count, which should be relatively easy to track is not accurate at all and sometimes 1000’s of steps out! This needs to be resolved ASAP! Also the gesture function sometimes is not accurate or sometimes goes off on its own, this needs fine tuning. However, a good start and hopefully these issues can be resolved on the next update.

Immature and unreliable
The app crashes every time it tries to download data. If you run out of battery, data is lost (should be persisted). Also the charging case does not charge, I need to use a 3rd party charger. Kinds of useless for health monitoring.
Can’t pair
Really frustrating something something as pairing when creating a new account shouldn’t be so difficult. Current can’t pair so ring is bricked essentially.
