Major issues

Serious privacy issues. The app forces you to give your location. There is no need for this and other competitor apps work fine.
Also, an issue with delivery addresses. My community is not serviceable but the apartment right across is!

I request you to add the widget feature for the akshayakalpa app to view the upcoming orders in the subscriptions and available balance.
This helps users to add money accordingly and track their upcoming orders.

App wise super! No Ground level support

The app and call center service are excellent. However, be prepared for frequent issues with delivery, such as wrong deliveries or missed deliveries (sometimes ending up 2-3 kilometers away or in completely unrelated areas). You’ll receive immediate notifications and see automatic debits, but there’s no connection to the actual delivery location. Unfortunately, the ground-level execution team is highly unreliable.

Suggestion for new customers:
Always have a backup plan, especially if you have kids at home. It’ll definitely help make your day a little easier!

Worst service ever

The delivery person falsely claims to have delivered the milk at 5:30 AM, but in reality, it always arrives after 9 AM, making it useless on weekdays. I’ve only been able to use 25% of the product, while the rest ends up in the waste bin. Despite raising multiple complaints, it seems like customer concerns are not a priority for some reason. And I did raised complaint to the customer care number and via WhatsApp so I don’t want any recommendation mentioning contact our customer service or any. Just posting here so that you guys will improve your service at least a bit.

Great product and good app

The products from Akshyakalpa are of great quality. I have been using their products from more than 2 years and am availing their subscription model from last few months. The delivery has been prompt on time. In am really happy with their service and products.
The app is also very good.
One suggestion is if they can shorten the subscription pause timeline. Now we need to pause the subscription 2 days ahead..

Healthier than what promised and Fantastic service

My son is allergic to particular variety of milk, he gets severe cough and use to fall sick very often. After switching to A2 milk with Akashayakalpa, he has definitely improved a lot with his wellness and we realised that my son is allergic to Jersey milk which has a lot of injected hormones. What I really love about these guys is the customer support is really meant for “customer support”, they replace the milk incase if its physically damaged during delivery and the best part is they offer delivery with a sense of humanity even if the valet is running short for a day, I had only ₹27 and forgot to recharge, milk was delivered the next day with a negative balance of -₹16 or so…. Its very rare to see e-commerce products built just beyond for the willing of making money. I really appreciate the founders and the team thats managing the entire process, welldone guys, today you have a loyal customer like me… cheers 👌👌👌

New version is less user friendly

App user experience . Previous version was good .
App version 5 which has different UX made things worse
. If I need add 500 ml milk to cart , I need to do two clicks . Previously it’s one click . If I need to but 500 mL curd ( there is no 1000 mL curd) , it will go another page and you need add there . All these flows good in past with one click . New version you made user experience worst. Why change user friendly version to worst by doing an upgrade ??

Our goal with the update was to enhance the app’s overall functionality, but we clearly see that some changes have had the opposite effect.

Problematic deliveries

They keep missing products to be delivered or deliver incorrect products. I raised complaint atleast 10+ times. Initially they used to respond on WhatsApp and refund money. Lately they stopped responding even after multiple reminders to them. Lastly on calling them they talk non sense like - so what did u do with the incorrect product, did u consume it, send picture of batch number on WhatsApp, why didn’t u call same day. Although the complaint was raised same day on chat to which they don’t respond. I have stopped subscription now. Too much hassle and they act like they are distributing products for free.

Very few stock

The veggies are all out of stock barring few we do understand it’s not easy to source organic veggies easily and to keep it cost effective.. so why don’t you create a separate category for regular veggies as well.. now the situation is such that, for dairy products we rely on one app and for veggies we have to rely on another, thereby forcing us to look for a single source for all our needs. That’s how we stumbled upon this lesser known app.. I was very much interested in dill leaves, but I don’t seem to find them anywhere in Chennai, was excited to see in your inventory, but alas - out of stock..

App is fine. But the products are a scam.

The milk that I receive is so watery. And everything is so overpriced. Who charges 45 for half a litre of milk? It’s all a scam in the name of organic products. I ordered their cheese as well and outside at that price you can get 10 cheese slices but when I received the pack it said 4 slices. And even that price is higher than what I pay for 10 slices from other brands. Moreover it’s excessively salty. The products are substandard and I’m going to stop using this brands products once my wallet balance expires. They make you recharge for 1000 by saying we will give free products worth 600 but even those products are not worth it. Utter waste. Amul skimmed milk is thicker than akshayakalpa whole milk.

Unresponsive and increasing concerns every day

I subscribed for Akshayakalpa milk last year for two primary reasons - the organic products and opportunity to recycle waste. I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of discipline, response, and result orientation of the team in picking up the empty milk boxes. There are 7 formal complaints lodged since December but my milk cartons lie as is. My children who were excited with the option to recycle are now advising me to stop Akshayakalpa as their advent to recycle seems fake.

Of late, the milk box is being dropped in my neighbour’s bag and today’s box is swollen and leaking. I decided to drop a review and not call the help centre this time because the staff is trained to speak very sweet with multiple apologies but NO concern so far has been ever resolved. I have already discontinued 2 subscriptions and will stop milk once the present wallet balance nullifies. Unfortunately, we have started throwing the milk cartons now as normal waste 🙁

Worst app, worst CRM, worst delivery team

Every time milk was delivered to wrong address inspite of my address being correct. 5 consecutive times the issue occurred and I accepted their apology. 6th time when I called I asked them about it and they just disconnected the call. When I called multiple times they still didn’t answer but when I called from a different number they answered. That is how they treat the customers. If somebody wishes to buy A2 milk cow please don’t buy from them. Your mornings will be ruined. There are many other milk providers in Bangalore

App is a piece of crap!

Does not store address correctly and if you delete your account to try again it says you have to use a new mobile number. This not give me any confidence about the quality of their products. When I tried to order using a different mobile number, the payment failed, but instead of crediting the amount back to my bank account, they credited to the app wallet! You can keep the amount - I will never order from you again and will spread the word to my friends, family and colleagues

Unable to place order

Hello , I am able to add products in cart but unable to schedule delivery, I called the support as well but they just asked to reinstall which I did more than twice , rebooted phone still the app say add your complete address which is already added and still the issue remain same and I am unable to
Place order , also please note the what’s app chat service I receive zero response, call service is still better

Everything (almost) is good

Products and services offered are excellent.
I have no idea why notification remains at 1 even when you have read everything. This is the only point which feels not good in the app. If the team could do something about this then i will be good.
