Terrible coverage
Basic blood work for annual preventative care not covered. Denied my claim including Lipid profile.
Coverage is awful
BCBS covers nothing. Everything is an excuse of why they don’t cover it. Investigational? What even is that? What do I pay for. I used to tell everyone how great BCBS is but no more. I will be choosing the other option through my employer during my enrollment period
My Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with how Blue Cross Blue Shield has handled my situation. This has been ongoing since October 2025, when I was forced to undergo an out-of-network surgery due to medical necessity. I submitted a claim for approximately $9,500 and provided all of the required documentation, yet I have continued to struggle to get a clear answer regarding the status of my claim.
After months of dealing with this, I should not have to repeatedly contact my insurance company just to receive basic information about a claim that I properly submitted. The lack of communication and transparency has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the circumstances surrounding my surgery and the significant amount of money involved. I expect better from my insurance provider and want this matter addressed promptly.

Love the policy
I hate having to verify every stinking time on the same device. But I love the policy. I don’t like the insurance company thinks they are smarter

After verifying myself with a text message code, it won’t let me sign in to my account, just saying that that BCBS cannot fulfill that request right now. This seems to happen at the only times you need to view your account.
