No Apple Pay on stupid insidious app

Many bugs
Why have an app? It’s more like a movie guide and not functional for purchases anymore…
A couple weeks ago I spent over an hour, missed the original movie time we wanted, trying between the .com and the app, constantly selecting and deselecting, having to change seats because it kept saying the seats were sold (the ones I was trying to buy) and I finally had to buy tickets in person defeating the point of the app.
During that movie’s previews there was another my son wanted to see so, while on Alamo Drafthouse’s WiFi as well as my cellular (I understand structurally why there is open not private WiFi, but to have no choice than to use it especially when payments are involved, don’t love that, would prefer a cellular rebounder than forced to use not private WiFi), but tried again and again and again having the same problem. Once I finally got it loaded to pay and thinking I was successful, fast forward a week+ (today) and we missed our movie time because somehow in this entire mess the app chose 9:30am when I’d been repeatedly choosing a 6:40pm movie.
I just tried to re-purchase the same tickets on the app and that time was essentially sold out. I, once again, tried to buy tickets for the next day or possibly two days from now on the app, I have a very upset 5 year old right now who was ready to go in his cosplay outfit excited for the movie, and the same payment window continues to buffer…
Deleted and downloaded the app again and it shows the tickets I’d selected, yet never purchased, on my account, as “sold”. They’re not. I understand there’s a holding period but still. Same account should not display the tickets as sold, imo. But payment window continues to buffer.
We love(D) this place. But the frustration of simply buying tickets makes the app kind of pointless.
To add, the day we were in the theater, again on Alamo’s WiFi as well as trying my own cellular, we couldn’t even order food because their “system was having issues” and I, physically disabled with a 5 year old, had to speed walk behind an employee from the furthest theater to the counter to order food and drinks and then back again to the theater. I was told there was no way to order more food unless I left the movie, walked back out to the foyer and started another check at the counter. We did not do that, obviously. Idk why I tipped extra above their default 18% added to the chèque. I felt ‘on the spot’, but I digress.
I acknowledge this is more than just the app as a review and will be trying to figure out who to contact about the pile of frustrations and money lost, but it all originated from the app’s mess of flaws.
