Hate this app, almost as much as the bank
This app does not work, and the bank themselves have had me remake my account 3 times just for nothing to change, then if your a hard working person like myself who works a 9-6 your kinda sol because there is no 24 hour service line so with this bank I just got to hope they do there job and get stuff sorted out, but if they have too hard of a time to do that even

This app doesn’t work
I opened up an Alerus banking account and everything went good, no problems whatsoever I wait for my card to arrive and everything but then when I try to enroll an Alerus account, NOTHING works, I can’t login because I don’t have an account but then it won’t let me enroll because I have an account, I sit here for 2 hours a day trying to fix my app and calling people to be hit with a “password tries exceeded” and then I think to myself I’m going to go run into a tree, Alerus fix your app

Great banking experience
Love the layout & easy transfer options!
Awful
I’m switching banks because this app is so bad. I’ve lost track of how long I’ve spent talking to “customer service” trying to fix recurring problems. Save yourself the headache and find a different bank
Not good
I do not like the new app. I liked the bank and the app much better before Alerus. Getting set up was too confusing, especially trying to enroll Face ID. I also don’t like the new homepage. I preferred when the app opened straight to my accounts instead of having to scroll to find what I need.
Not User Friendly!
Cannot see checks written to whom and balance throughout the month of transactions coming through. This is horrible! Home Federal Bank had a much better app!!
Bad App
I have yet to get this app to open when I click on it. I have to delete and re add it each time to get it to work. Going to just log in on line.
Never works
I just opened an account at this bank. My first day I got logged into the app, but that was it. I try multiple times a day with zero luck! Extremely frustrating!
Can never login
I thought I would give this app another try to see if the issues have been solved. Nope still can’t log in. Why can’t you fix this? I literally see everyone complaining about it. The app is useless.
Can’t get pass the login
Can’t get pass the login and I know have everything correct. It won’t sent me a code via email but will lock my account. How am I going to pay my bills???????
Liked Home Federal better

Can’t get in
Tried to login in told me incorrect credentials, tried to reset password, reset email never comes through, tried forgot username, email never comes through.
Still many issues
I posted a review a few months ago and have seen no changes. I need to view my app as I regularly do transfers. It’s very hit or miss if I can log in and I can’t always call the bank to do a transfer. Please fix this asap. Never had any issues with alerus before this and it’s really frustrating. I also can’t change when automatic text messages send so I can view my balance. I like it to be at the end of the day so I can transfer money so I don’t get charged a fee if I’m negative.

App very buggy
Continues to kick me out of the app and then will not allow me to log in. Very frustrating.
Not a great app so far.
Frustrating app. Can’t get past the login. Then says to try again later. I cannot access account, where can you transfer funds or see the transactions. Have called support 3 times. After getting transferred twice to wrong department still not fixed. Will have to call support again but the hold time isn’t short either.

Lousy
Can’t get past login—reoccurring issue. Troubleshoot multiple times. It’d work temporarily and then blocked again 👎. Please patch asap. P1 issue.

Old App > New App
This new app is so secure that I can’t even access my bank account! If I could get into my account whenever I wanted (like the old one), I’d give this a 5 star. But I can’t. This will get sorted out eventually, but it’s annoying
Fix it until it breaks
For some reason, Alerus decided to replace their functional, aesthetic, and simple app with this newer one. The “Remember Me” login feature doesn’t remember you, it’s a pain to navigate, and the entire display is stuck trying to display browser content that hasn’t been properly integrated into the app. I honestly thought this was a cheap scam app when I started using it.

Super annoying logging in constantly
Super annoying with this new app having to login again every couple months. Also no real improvement over the old app just busier. Stop overhauling when it’s not needed people like simple apps.
