This is the fifth device I’ve tried. They are trash, Alexa will gaslight you and tell you that she has stopped the music every time you say stop the music and she hasn’t she’ll come back and say I have stopped the music… and she just repeat when you tell her she’s malfunctioning she just says she isn’t and she repeats it over. She also mocks my Tourette’s

Alexa Echo goes offline part way through conversation
Each time I ‘drop in’ on my father’s Alexa Echo, the device goes offline part way through our conversation. It has happened repeatedly, at random times.
I hate them
The device sucks and when I ask for help, I can’t get any. It’s frustrating and you can’t get any help no matter how much you ask for it.

The website was easier to use
Needlessly complicated too many settings it was much easier to handle on the website but Amazon discontinue that because Amazon are lazy you also cannot set everything from the Alexa itself and a lot of the time redirected to this app which is far less easy to use makes a mockery of an easy user interface Amazon should be ashamed

Software issues
Great app in my opinion software in general is a bit confusing i found it hard to navigate round and its quite a challenge to pair another device successfully to the alexa
There is a lot to improve
The interface is not intuitive. For example, you have to ask Alexa to take you to your routines. Th map editor does not work to edit added rooms in the map view.
Alexa Plus
I enjoyed using original Alexa, but found Alexa Plus to be extremely annoying and creepy. It talked way too much, listened even after I finished interacting with it, gave erroneous status information about the app, and was difficult to figure out how to fix. The issue I found most creepy was that it whispered responses when I talked quietly such as in the middle of the night. Since I am hard of hearing, this was totally useless to me, unexpected, and therefore creepy. I am unable to control Adaptive Volume or Brief Mode in Alexa Plus. After much time and effort trying to uncover the true issue(s), I was able to go back to original Alexa by verbally asking Alexa to turn off (exit) Alexa Plus. I also turned on Brief Mode, and I am much happier with my Echo Dot now. It will be a long time before I try Alexa Plus again, if ever.

Worthless
The app is as bad as the actual device. Responds 1/10 times at best. It’s frustrating dealing with it every step of the way
Has become dated.
These echoshow units are heading for the bin. Nine out of ten questions gets a “Sorry I don’t know the answer to that question”.
