Don’t understand why people have rated this highly??? Worst app ever
I’ve been a customer for a few years now. This app is and always has been the bottom of the barrel. Just try and find a care giver!! The app changes areas all by itself. Never finds the caregiver you search for even though you have an EOB and previous visit.
Ambetter no longer accepts my previous Doctor, assigned me a PA, which no longer works in the area. Can’t change this on the App, can’t find the present PA I used (just to replace the given one).
Everything seems to just try and steer you to their teledoc area. Not surprisingly as then they can control your care and their costs. I’ve been dealing with this App for at least three years and just now am leaving a review as I saw it was rated 4.8. That was so laughable, I felt inspired to let people know….its not even a One star. I’ll go to the full site now and hope that’s better.

Constantly crashes
The app is horrible and yet it is the only way I have to manage my health insurance. It constantly crashes it requires like 17 layers of verification. When I do get it to open it spins and spins and spins on loading.. the data in the app isn’t always accurate because it says my insurance is active it. The insurance company is telling my providers that my insurance isn’t active and it takes days to clear it up. It is not worth the $700 a month I pay for Ambetter.

The app can’t find my account
The app, just like Healthnet, can’t find a match so that I can login. If this app doesn’t work why is it still available?

I signed up for Ambetter in February 2025 in June 2025 I had a stroke Without Ambetter. I don’t think it would be here today.

I love how user friendly the app is!!! I also love how organized it is. It is easy to find what you’re looking for!! I will continue to use it. The only problem I have had is I still haven’t received my visa rewards card and have ordered it twice.

this app would be great if i could use it however every single time i try to login over the past at least 3 months it force closes the app. i've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. it's just ridiculous.

Face ID
App is generally fine, but Face ID has not worked for me once since I downloaded this app. Have to go through the whole login process each time and it’s fairly annoying.
Login issue
Earlier I had to login again even I turned on Face ID. Now I’m having to change password, on each usage.
