This sucks
I hate this system it doesn’t work right. The system itself works but I can’t find any hvac people to help me.
Can't get scheduling to work.
We constantly set a schedule and within a day it goes away and I have to manually adjust.
Easy to use
Not a lot of features on this thermostat app or tstat in general.
Air conditioning is great
I don’t have any complaints but I know the app could be largely improved and updated for easier use. It looks old, it works, but doesn’t seem to be made for 2026 or iPhone. Other than that, I love the air conditioning and love the ease of having control in my fingertips!

I’ve been very impressed with the American Standard Home app. It’s intuitive, easy to navigate, and creating automations is straightforward. Overall, it’s been a great experience.
I do have a few suggestions that would make it even better:
* Please display the temperature and humidity readings from the remote sensors. Since those sensors are already collecting the data, it would be extremely helpful for homeowners and HVAC professionals to see it.
* Expand automation support with Apple HomeKit. Deeper HomeKit integration would add a lot of value for those of us invested in the Apple ecosystem.
* Allow users to export runtime history as CSV files, similar to Ecobee. This data is incredibly valuable for analyzing system performance and can help HVAC professionals properly size replacement equipment. In many cases, long-term runtime data from an existing system provides insights that complement—and sometimes more accurately reflect real-world conditions than—a Manual J load calculation alone.
Overall, this is an excellent app with a clean interface and easy-to-use automation features. A few additions like these would make it one of the best smart thermostat apps available.

Love my new Wi-Fi thermostat
Terrible App
Initially got the app set up and connected my unit. Tried to use the app a few months later and was locked out after changing my password. Says my unit is not connected. I can only assume the update reset the app and now I have to start over. It is extremely frustrating
Frustrated
System is very expensive yet we seem to have issues with it not working at least 2x’s a year. We do pay for the regular maintenance and they were here a month ago (May 15th). Very frustrating.
Early 2000 Tech
I had both AC replaced last year. The interface and ability to connect onto WiFi is like using early 2000 tech. It is over complicated. I have to turn off my my cellular to try to connect to wifi and it still doesn’t work. The schedule looks like it was developed by a second year software developer. Just let me hook up an ecobee, simple straight forward and modern. This system is horrible and I spent way too much money for it to be so old!!!

Insecure
Thermostat keeps resetting itself to very cold temperatures. I’m not even sure if I’m getting the correct temperature anymore.
Bad user interface
Scheduling not friendly. Created a schedule and can’t delete it in app. Can’t delete it from controller. NEST is much better.
Run time history Not Working
Something happened that the run time history doesn’t work anymore. Not Daily, not Monthly.

Thermostat doesn’t maintain temperature
It’s cold so you check the thermostat and it’s 2 degrees colder than the temperature set. So you set it up a degree and then you’re too because the house temperature is now higher than the thermostat setting. So much for buying an expensive variable rate AC that’s supposed to keep the temperature level rather than up and down like a 2-cycle AC.

Solid but craves features
Very functional app. Seems dependable to the home user but some features feel more directed to the technician and not the customer. A simple reminder for filter changes would add a star.

When i try to raise the temperature in the morning i usually have to do it several times before it stays even when it acknowledges the change.
