Excellent Amex Travel App
I’ve had a really wonderful experience with the Amex Travel app. Traveling can sometimes be stressful, but this app makes everything feel so much easier and more organized. I love being able to manage my flights, hotels, and travel plans all in one place, and I really appreciate how simple and intuitive everything is.
What I enjoy most is the peace of mind it gives me when I’m traveling. Having all my information right at my fingertips makes a big difference, especially when I’m on the go. Amex has done an excellent job creating an app that feels reliable, convenient, and genuinely helpful.

Lacks map features
I’m always a fan of booking through Amex. The benefits rarely disappoint. But, a map feature with hotel locations is simply table stakes. I’m stunned this isn’t built into the app.

Tried booking a hotel no less than FOUR times and received an error message each time. Thanks, Amex!
Can’t get it right
How many times do o have to step out of this site to the hotel sight. I could not get a suite for one hotel on Amex so I booked directly with the hotel. For the other. Amex will not use my saved Apple Pay or cards and I have to rekey.

Find resorts and hotels program
It used to be that the hotel rate would be the same as the rate on the American Express app, but now I’m finding that booking directly with the hotel is considerably less and the perks and credits that you offer through platinum travel. Don’t even come close to the same value of the reduced rate of the room. That is disappointing

Amex Travel is one of the best tools provided for Amex CC holders. All reservations count with additional and reliable insurance from

Removed the FHR Filter
The reason this app was great is because it’s the only reliable way to search for The Hotel Collection and FHR properties. They removed it from Filters and put it in Sort which is bad enough, but the Sort literally does nothing. That means Amex removed the singular feature that makes this app useful, when the feature was working perfectly fine.
