Lost faith in the brand

After being a member for over 20 years it’s time to call it a day after changes in recent years of pricing and card policies re cabin class booking. Literally forcing you to pay extra to use the Avios system which yes is a choice but you’re drawn in for the so called extra benefits! Which you never seem to be able to use and then icing on the cake this so called anniversary flight to New York. What a marketing coup how many fools like myself thought it was actually a reality so how many fools such as myself actually purchased extra Avios to make sure they could go in the cabin class of choice! How many wasted hours looking at terms and conditions for the system to crash the even speak to someone and be sent a phone number to call which just tells you it can only be booked on line! I just can’t wait to use my miles and companion voucher and leave this business model that is now totally wrapped around sharp practice with no recourse!!
