Puts you in a constant loop of “something went wrong” with no additional details, would avoid
Cannot even create an account
Awful. Truly awful. Try to create an account. Enter the verification code sent to my email address but EVERY time is says “verification failed” so impossible to even use one of the chargers.

A complete nightmare to set up an account with the app repeatedly preventing me from selecting the next box to enter the next bit of data by stopping any scrolling down the screen. Half an hour to set it up and then after pre authorising a £35 charge the charger refused to start a charge

Excruciating torture trying to get this beast to do what it’s supposed to do.
Tried three times to initiate a charge and each time failed. Subsequently found I had pending charges of £50 x3 on my bank account. I rang their shonky call centre service and they cancelled them, but without any apology or explanation of why the chargers remained.

Absolute Sh*t!
Doesn’t even deserve one star!! Visiting Northumberland for the first time - ALL the chargers around us are AmpEv chargers and can not create an account - stuck in an endless loop!! No website as back up - no tap to pay option. STOP making electric car uses access useless apps just to get our payment/personal details. ALL chargers should now be tap to pay. Not fit for purpose!!!

Couldn’t charge using App. Might be charger issue or App. Either way, not sure why all chargers don’t just allow payment via contactless debit card, rather than a complicated App.
Throttled charge
Used the chargers at Hilton Blackpool and got a rate of 1.4kw. I lodged a support ticket and told the hotel throttles the chargers based on their load.

Ahh just restart the charge I thought… Nope said the app you can’t charge because that charger is occupied. Yep by my car… Doh…
You can’t restart remotely so it’s a bit rubbish. Maybe this feature can be added but until then your mileage may vary (in my case literally).

Works well
Seems to work well. Easy to scan the barcode and start charging. I had issues with adding my card after opening my account. I had to skip this step and then go to the app settings to add my card, which worked.
