Do not do it
Don’t work for Angi Services as first off they rip over the workers and second if you are a “professional” and work for Angi and a customer wants to call and start lying so they don’t have to pay for services that got done and get charged hundreds not a couple but HUNDREDS of dollars and will not listen to the workers only to the lying customer…
Well one good thing is I don’t have to ever deal with ANGI again and they can take that Fee and choke on it cause I will not be paying for a lying customer!!!!!!!

Scam and Robbers very Greedy money hungry
I decided to try the Angi App and everything was going good in the beginning then I started seeing where they started saying customers complained and late fees saying I was overpaid and just taking money didn’t want to pay me they block you after they been done left the conversation they so unprofessional they really do under pay people they are rude and don’t care how they treat the workers they see where you making money and take it and stealing from people they need to be sued and shut down please anybody don’t use this app these foreigners come and take over in the United States and trying to take over they have no respect or care about use over here someone needs to shut this app down

Accommodating doesn’t pay the bills!
You gotta watch people who ask for accommodations. I went to a job early and completed it. As usual, you can’t access check in until a few hours before the job. So I checked my schedule later that night, they canceled the job. But I ain’t letting them off the hook that easy. I still have their address. And I will go back not just for payment but because I did them a favor. Rich people in a rich neighborhood trying to screw over a hard working person like me who has rent due. I will never accommodate anyone else unless they fully accommodate me first. I went out of my way for them and I still completed everything on my schedule for the day. And here I sit looking like a fool!

No clarity and
I downloaded the app so j in can make some extra money, however it has been the opposite. They scheduled you for jobs without your consent or agreement. They will charge a cancellation fee of $50 for not showing to the job. You will find out this because if you did not schedule the job then you do not know about it until they tell you will be charged a fees. Save yourself some headaches and do not download this app.

Terrible just terrible
The pay isn’t good at all. Half the time I get a job it gets canceled and Angie services doesn’t even bother to tell me. No notification no email no text nothing. And then if you get a job, they always underestimate the time it’ll take to do the job and there is no simple way to add time to the job. It inconveniences the Customer and the worker. This app is only good if you don’t have any bills to pay so you don’t have to worry about making the smallest amount of money possible

I downloaded the app to sign up but it tells me I need to download the app and I already did. Opened and closed and didn’t work keeps looping. Contacted support was told to uninstall and download again and he was very familiar with the issue. I uninstalled and downloaded and the same thing happens. It wants me to finish in the app and gives you the link but when you click on it takes you to the same page. If this is the way the app works, I definitely don’t trust the operation of it to be dependable and

This app is a scheme!!! They make you do jobs and then not pay you for them because the customer purposely complains job wasn’t done right so they don’t have to pay!!! Can’t hire a plumber through Angie’s😂 you get what you pay for. Good luck keeping this app going
Terrible App for Pros
The Angi app for Pros is terrible. It’s always glitchy. You will constantly be booted out randomly when you’re putting in critical information or feedback, and you’ll also get strange errors. Customer service in the chat feature is also terrible. They frequently misspeak and fail to understand the issue you’re having. They rarely resolve your issues. If I could give this app fewer stars I would.

Labor abuse
Angie list purposefully under estimates the hours a job will take. I've done multiple jobs for them and they always seem to be awkward conversation with the customer about having to add time which cost the customer additional money. As a third party contractor it should not be our responsibility to negotiate rates with clients and Angie should honor the extra time it took and pay accordingly

I just did a job for a customer that told me that she paid them $600 and they only gave me $100 out and it was lawn care service so they automatically reschedule you if your not careful and they will also automatically charge the customer for it as well after I trimmed the leaves she told me about what she paid them and decided she wanted to work directly through me instead but she didn’t know that they were going to charge her card for the future as well and she called me 2 days later to ell that her card was charged 2wice and was very upset about that she realized that these Middle East people didnt care about what happened to her and so it forced her to make up a story about how I never showed up and the service was never rendered ( I understand it was the only way she could get a refund ) however they went on to charge me the $100 fee and an extra $50 no show fee on top of that which I was already being under paid as is and then instead of getting the truth they just held me liable and charged me the fee ….I’ve doing Angie for about 4 years now it was good at first but ever since these Arabs and Hindus bought them they have no integrity

Don’t work extra
Only work in the scheduled hours unless you have the customer extend hours before you keep working. Having to ask customer service to extend your hours is harder than trying to get your customer to download the app so they can approve your extended hours.
You’ll end up working for free if they don’t have the app, which most customers don’t because it’s all done third party with an email confirmation. The app isn’t required of customers to get service.
Don’t feel bad for leaving a job incomplete if they don’t extend your hours. I’ve done many jobs for free and I’m done now.
