New customer note/receipt feature
The new “leave a note” for your client feature doesn’t function properly because the bottom icons from the Home Screen overlay on the completed / finished button so you wouldn’t even know there was anything clickable under it and can’t finalize your jobs. Which dweeb do you guys have designing these things

Is this app a joke?
This app is absolutely terrible, 4.6 stars? I can’t even get past getting my ID confirmed because, “it looks like a digital screen.” Huh? I’ve literally taken the photo on 10 different surfaces and background and this absolutely awful app can’t figure that out. Then every single link is broken? “Looks like the site is temporarily unavailable.”
I was going to reach out to support? But I can’t because the link under getting help is unavailable. App support here? Ha!

Miscommunications, delayed payments and lousy support
Booked a few jobs through Angi. The messaging service built in to the App rarely works; if the message page even opens, most people will never see the message you sent. Same thing with the texts you may or may not receive from the client through the app. Their ‘support’ is just a referral to a list of unhelpful FAQ articles, it’s very difficult to actually reach a human.
Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t run a business like this.

Great Experience with Angi Service
Great platform for finding handyman jobs. The app is easy to use, job details are clear, and the process from claiming the job to completing it is straightforward. So far, I’ve had a very good experience working through Angi Services.

I worked for handy about two years this is what you need to know.
You don’t have pro contact support
And it takes handy three hours to respond.
Very unreasonable and unprofessional they will
charge the customer $100 and pay you $20.

This is a complete scam. They take money from payments and if you don’t talk to them they don’t refund it. They give you fee for everything. And don’t even care about your time. Worst app ever

I can’t send any messages through the website then after downloading the app now I need to activate it with my phone but they don’t have my phone because I order the service through Walmart is a nightmare just allow messages through the app and stop asking people to download apps that you’re only going to use once and don’t work

They sell the same leads to multiple pros creating a very competitive environment for the pro.
Communication features could be improved
The app runs decent overall. Simple to use and quick to use. I have two things that I hope to see in the future to grow this app:
1. Allow taskers the option to reach out and request job time adjustments before accepting a gig. Sometimes we cannot accept a job because it is only 30 later or earlier than were available to begin thus, hindering commitments.
2. Pricing. Here’s an example that I see all the time. TV mounting for $35, is a very low offer that most professionals will decline. The likelihood of the job being local isn’t very high either, so when a guy like me has to drive a pickup truck at 10 mpg to and from jobs, I’m sometimes looking at paying between 10 to 15 dollars in fuel to commute out of town. That’s time and money. Quickly, a $35 tv mount turns into $20-25 for 2 and a half hours commuting and working. Please consider this to

score goes down randomly, earn is less than 200$ per month, bad customer service. Hope get better
App will waste your time, energy and give anxiety, not recommended, customer service will leave without answer for hours and days, they always find a way to hurt your economy. Hope it change

The worst platform for this type of service. Absolutely user unfriendly and every step of the way is made to make it harder for the professionals to make money. They pay slave wages and short you out your money when you work over. I had a job scheduled for 2 hours for $41. I ended up working 2.45 hours and they lied and said the job was originally for 2.5 hours and only gave me $2 extra. Scam scam scam. I asked a customer how much they paid and it was 4x the amount they give us. They’re robbing us blind. Don’t do it. (I’m going to add to this review every time I notice something terrible about this platform. The daily pay option is the worst. You pay 1.99 to cash out before the direct deposit is sent, but it still may take up to a week to arrive to your account. An average it takes about 2 hours for it to hit my account every time. That’s ridiculous considering it is absolutely possible for them to send it instantly as every other gig based app does it perfectly. On top of that you can only cash out once every 24 hours. They clearly don’t care about the professionals, only about keeping the money for themselves.
